To answer the question I think it's JML because I think only JML has showed he has what it takes to be great as in the best fighter in boxing great, I think it's pretty hard to bet against him against anyone and he will be THE guy in the not to distant future. Really excited to see him I think there are a lot of guys coming up.

I can understand how JML can still be considered a prospect just based on what he's done versus what he is expecting to hopes to do. Certainly he has bigger fish to fry then Ponce De Leon or any of these guys he's beat, he still hasn't actually been tested in the ring yet with anyone close to his skill level. So I can understand how one could call him a prospect, I think it's OK either way.

Also what the hell is Hattonthehammer on about? Does he post here anymore I mean really, really? Wrong on about 10 trillion levels. I really don't want this to turn into a UK Fans versus US Fans thread but I have to get this in, if Andre Ward, Andre Berto, Andre Dirrell or the Peterson brothers got KO'd in the 1st round by a wild swinging Colombian, you couldn't get anyone here to say one good word about a win over Oisin Fagan. I think Khan is almost being given a break now that he's coming back simply because it's like an easy target. He's getting treated very well imo while Kirkland and Gamboa, guys who should be creating tremendous buzz simply because they are fun to watch fight, like Khan but at a higher level, aren't.

    loss or no loss

if khan held an american passport the members of saddos would be building him up like kirkland or gamboa!!
You are crazy. Khan has gotten so much hype here it isn't even funny, and the mainstream British media his given 10x the expose either Kirkland or Gamboa is getting.

If you still consider Andre Dirrell a prospect, he's is the best right now, followed by Ortiz. I can see him beating ANYBODY in at 168 within two years. He's not quite ready for Kessler right now, but I think beats most of them fight now. Maybe that makes him a contender, but considering that some people still think Berto is a prospect, I'm making Dirrell a prospect. I can see guys Gamboa and Kirkland having fatal flaws that will exposed badly by the wrong matchup, even if they end up grabbing straps.

If Andre Dirrell was British, Steve Bunce wouldn't be shutting up about this guy. He's certainly every bit of the fighter Froch is right now, he's younger, and doesn't have the dangerous technical flaws.
