Default Katsidis Is Back Jan 31!!!

Pure excitement machine Michael Katsidis is fighting little known Angel Hugo Ramirez on Jan 31 in the Phillipines. This seems like a confidence builder for Michael after coming off 2 losses.

I kinda hope he has learnt from his mistakes and boxes a bit more to prolong his career.
On the other hand i love the way he brawls and dont want him to change too much!
I think against the right oppponent we could see him in a FOTY this year. Who would you guys like to see Kats fight? I'd like to see him in against Amir Khan. I feel Khan is more skilled but Kats could KO him anytime.
A also wouldnt mind seeing Katsidis v Guzman.

I would like to see him fight Khan too, it won't happen though as the little K man is to dangerous for Khan.

He might be able to prolong his career by "boxing", but his boxing skills really are not polished enough to stand a chance with world class boxers. The only chance he has against world class boxers is to be an all out brawler I think, and h trainer is still probably semi retared because the advice he kept givin kats in the diaz fight was a bunch of bollocks.

I want to see Michael Katsidis fight Breidis Prescott, awesome match up IMO.

I was gonna say something similar, I'm not sure boxing more will really work for Kats, he needs to refine some things, but remain an action fighter, cut off the ring better, work on the jab be a bit more defensively responsible and work the body much more han he did versus Diaz.

He definitely needs a new trainer, someone to teach him that you can't always break their hands with your forehead. But good to see him back in the ring, hopefully we will see him better than ever and ready to get back into the states

Katsidis is as good as he's going to get. If anything I think he's on the down slide already. His performance in the Diaz fight was disappointing. I think the Casamayor fight might of ruined him

His trainer has his head in the sand, reduced to lies and cheerleading vs. Diaz.I do think Khan has everything to lose vs. Kats.including the fight.Kats needs to stick with what brought him and go all out,too late to restructure.Do not wait around & over think things...not his game and looks bad caught in between styles.

Didn't make much sense for Katsidis to not go to the body fighting Diaz. He needs to either get guys who are willing to stand with him in the center of the ring or he needs to learn how cut the ring off a little better and come forward with offense. Against Diaz he ate everything that came behind Diaz' jab, got flatfooted and got turned all night long. Can't let that happen again.

Katsidis-Guzman actually is fairly interesting simply because of Katsidis' punching power. Guzman is infintely more skilled then Katsidis but makes fights more interesting then they have to be because he likes to throw in combos and he loops his punches while standing and trading which cost him a couple times and almost seriously hurt him at the end of his Barrios fight.

Really think that is more interesting then what you would otherwise think really, which is a Guzman 120-108 decision.
