Thread: Will Mayweather-Mosley ever Happen????

thats a fuckking mega fight, i think mosley stops him late and shocks the world and hands mayweather his 1st loss.

If Mayweather comes back he will wait to see who wins the Pacquioa-Hatton fight first.

If a fight ever happens i take Floyd by decision.It will be a hard fight but Mosley has always struggled with fighters with a good jab and Floyd has just that,Mosley will bring the punch power but Floyd counters that by having one of the best defence's in the game you hardly ever see him take a full blooded shot.I think Floyd works mostly behind his jab not over commiting himself and takes the UD.

It's not big enough! Never gonna happen... Way too much risk for Mayweather Jr. forget about it.

Ditto. I'd root for SSM, but chances are good Mayweather would pull this one out. I'd pay to see it, though!

Mayweather's jab is just too good, his defense, just too impenetrable. He gets the UD. Unfortunately, he doesn't seem into boxing right now

I really don't see PBF coming back. I think Pac is a mismatch so Mosley would be the only reason to unretire. But I really don't think PBF is coming back to boxing. But if he did I think he wins a competitive decision against Mosley. But sorry boxing fans, I think PBF is really retired. Let it go. Him and Calzaghe may be the rarities in boxing. A boxer who retires himself.

Mayweather has never fought anyone as good as Shane Mosley b4 and he has had a couple of close calls with Castillo and Oscar

I wouldnt be surprised if Mosley beat him . Remember not many thought Shane would beat Tony, let alone smash him to bits and knock him out.

Sadly i think this fight wont happen though i would pay to watch that fight in HD.

All the respect in the world to Mosley but to me he would get his ass handed to him by Floyd. I hope this fight does happen though it would interest me.

man I would love to see been wanting it for years....50/50 with the tide rolling for mosley...but floyd wont take it if he does he will wait until mosley looks completely old and on his death bed.

Ironically enough floyd would probably convince himself that a rematch with hatton is better for his legacy, if hatton manages to beat pacman.

I think Floyd Mayweather is completely overrated from 140 pounds up. I think if the fight were to happen within the next 6 months Mosley would win. However, I dont think we will be seeing Floyd fight again. And if he does it wont be against another genuine 147 fighter.

sadly a mayweather return will result in the 2 trading insults inside the ring for 12rounds and mayweather taking a decision!!

Mayweather does not equal Margarito. Not that Mosley couldn't beat him, but that fight would look completely different. Margarito's piss poor defense and lack of speed got him eviscerated. That wouldn't happen against Floyd. Mayweather is faster than Mosley and has a better defense. Now Floyd wouldn't be able to knock out Mosley, but considering Floyd has never sniffed canvas from a legit knockdown Mosley would have to win a hard-fought, 12 round decision. I see Mayweather taxing Shane's legs by utilizing the whole ring, potshotting him the whole way en route to a SD.
