Thread: Prescott.....

...anyone else think he's lookin a bit like Tito Trinidad tonight? well besides the left hook, but the his stance and the way he's leaning a bit forward

Prescott won but I wasnt really that impressed,especially toward the end....He seemed to get frustrated quick and was leaving himself wide open for shots. Alot of pulling back with hands down and alot of holding. I think the guy has the power, quickness, and some of the fundementals to be pretty good but he also has some glaring weaknesses.....You cant really base much on the Khan fight because BP Ko'ed Khan so quickly.......I am still unsure how he will fare against world class speed, power, and fundementals.....Maybe Toledo was fighting pretty dirty (with the headbutts and holding/hitting) and wouldnt allow BP to get in his game

All valid here, I think he would have a hard time with Soto. Prescott is fortunate though to have good power in both hands, Toledo made him look weaker, because he was moving around so much.

Prescott is just average. No way he's a top 10 Lightweight

Agreed... I think him and Kats would be a decent fight with Kats taking a hard fought decision...
