Thread: This makes me curious. Same Pads?

Here is some pics after the Cotto victory.





Not sure if the pics are doctored in any way or not, but they do raise questions. I shamelessly stole them from another site.

Ok let me explain.
You allways have wrap pads,its just some gauze wrapped up thats taped in to your wraps.
Whats being alleged is that they slipped a hard substance in to the wrap pads this time. Well considering the suspension,I suppose you can throw out alleged.
Their usually pre-made so you can get your fighter taped faster.
The allegation is when Mosely's people went to check the wraps,something hard fell out of the wrap pads. They did say they found dried blood on them,but if they used the same hard thing,theyre even bigger idiots then has allready been alledged,because if that was old and had shattered,it would have torn the hell out of his knuckles

If that turns out to be true,theyre idiots. Man this highlights why I allways do things clean. Half the time you risk getting your fighter hurt,and if you get caught,well we've all seen what happened then. Its why I dont tolerate roids either. The risk isnt worth the reward

Early comments from Nazeem were that the pads even had blood stains in them and since then the whole "It's the same pads he wore with Cotto" thing came up...

1. Barring an admission from Margarito, we will never know for sure whether Margarito used illegal wraps against Cotto.
2. The vast majority of people (fairly or unfairly) will assume that Margarito did cheat against Cotto.

We can cross out #1 because according to the whole story and how I understand it is that Margarito himself DID NOT know anything about paddings.
(Which I personally think it's bull)

I think your #1 can be changed to Capetillo who did the hand wrapping and according to the story is the only person who knew/knows.

Truthfully,Ive got 5 sets of pads ready for Trinidad,and Ive had my fighter examine them in advance,hell she put them together,she has more free time. Ive checked them myself,and they squeak theyre so clean.
No freaking way Margarito didnt know.
I went over every ounce of the corner buckets with my fighter tonight to make sure,there wasnt buh anyone could say about what we were bringing.
If Margarito didnt know,he's allowing himself to be treated like a hunk of meat,which means he's an idiot coming and going.
I know a week in advance I went over every ounce of our corner buckets,just to make sure we were totally clear and clean,and I made my fighter pull her stuff out myself so she's sure she knows what's in there.
Im being blunt,either Margarito is a complete idiot and doesnt pay any attention to his corner,or he knew.

If he used loaded wraps against Cotto and knew about them then you can go with both choices:

He knew and still paraded his wraps around and shook them at the camera post fight

So basically he knew AND is a complete idiot

or perhaps they thought it was better to keep them on as noone could really tell they were hard to look at but if theyd been cut off and disposed off someone may have found them and felt they were hard i dunno,


the one thing im struggling to see thou is how they can be the same wraps, the blood stains in the wrong place surely and also if thats the hard bit he cant have been wearing that on the ouside so the blood stain wouldnt be so visible when his hands were wrapped
