although, to be fair, it sounds like she probably is all right as they say she was probably the most impressive looking fighter of the night, or actually the most ferocious

    Hold up.

This bird had Roger Mayweather training her.. Leslie had TM.

Should this fight have even been allowed?

TM posts this like this just invite people to laugh at you. Seriously creating a thread asking if the girl who battered your girl so bad the corner had to throw the towel is alright?

Of course she's alright she had an easy win knocking out her overmatched opponent in a couple of rounds.

Are you creating this thread to try and make it seem like it was close, or a war where both got rocked becuase if so the reports coming back from the show don't support this at all. She got the best win of the night according to fight reports, best usually means the most dominant, emphatic, one sided, total and complete victory etc.

So yeah, I reckon she's probably alright.

Your wife on the other hand, bro she's 0-4 has been stopped 4 times and by your own admission gets cut up in most every fight, (she's a bleeder you say).

Now shouldn't you be worrying about her?

She's almost 40 years old, is routinely beaten up in the pro's, presumably for very little money once travelling and expenses are factored in, even if you do waive your 25% fee as she's family.

She obviously ain't doing it for the glory as she has made probably the worst professional start of any female boxer in the world over the last couple years so why do you keep sticking her in there?

I got into an argument with Sharla earlier today as she was saying trainers like you are dangerous and shouldn't be allowed to coach, sending out ill equipped, poorly trained victims to be mashed up by real pro's. I replied with 'Don't be silly, it's just a bit of fun and all a laugh etc', but the reality is it isn't.

You ARE a danger to the people deluded enough to think you can train them. You clearly have no idea what your doing as evidenced by the fact that in your couple years on this board the only fighter you 'trained' to a win was Yusaf Mack, who apparently doesn't even know who you are.

My advice is to get out of the 'real pro' boxing business and sign up to some fantasy trainers league online, or get a boxing management game.

At least then you might actually have some success, and the fighters you are managing wouldn't be risking their health so you can live this pipe dream where you are a competent professional trainer.

I personally think Saddo should ban you completely from the Trainer section in case you lead any other aspiring wannabe fighters astray who might come here asking for advice and instead be taken under the wing of America's craziest hill billy to ever put a heavybag in his garage

Wow this guy is hilarious. Rivas is fine. As a matter of fact she's tentatively scheduled to fight in two weeks. Here is the audio link for anyone who wants to hear the live commentary and interview after the fight was over.

I have to say thanks to TM because I plan to make Lorissa Rivas the first female boxer whose career I actually follow. Unlike others on here I actually quite like TM, but man lets face it when its you up against Roger Mayweather, there really is no comparisom regarding trainers. I mean you've trained Kid Thunder, he's trained arguably the best p4p boxer of the past 25 years. Actually I wouldn't mind seein Floyd come back to take on the Kid

But on a real TM, it sounds like Rivas is a young girl is being built towards somethin', whilst your wife is getting on & should probably hang it up. Unlike others I can't criticize you bein a trainer because I haven't seen you in action (& the reason he doesn't handle corner as he has said himself is because he doesn't handle them well), so keep doin what you want. & honestly what do you expect him to say about his wife's performance, seriously, he aint gonna go 'Leslie's a joke, we're done professionally'. Whilst this shit is funny, it is startin to take a bit of an ICB turn, like people have decided to run TM off the site now. Which I have a major problem with, because at the least we should run SaddoBoxer off first!

No one is picking on TM or trying to run him off the site

He is 40 not 14. He doesn't give a fuck what anyone says. He's right in his own mind and nothing will change it.

If you act like Eddie Futch/Don King without backing it up and answer every question with "you don't know the buis" you're gonna get called on it. Simple as.

Hey Jaz, I agree with you on this as well mate, I like Trainer Monkey too, he's a nice guy, a good laugh and nothing wrong with being eccentric.

Regarding his fighters stable though, really, he needs to give it up. Neither Kid Thunder or his wife should be getting into a professional boxing ring, they simply arn't competitive at that level.

But there is no shame in that, if I stepped into a boxing ring with my diseased lungs, sloth like reflexes, frail bones and timid heart I'd do worse than both of them for sure, I'd never hear the bell for round two, but guess what, that is a large part of the reason for why I chosen NOT to take up professional boxing.

I mean if you box becuase you love it and want to improve, then maybe take up amatuer boxing. At least with only 4 x 2 min rounds, headguards, standing counts etc you are unilikey to get badly hurt, certainly I've never heard of anyone killed or seriously injured in amatuer boxing, but to have no boxing experience and then to turn PROFESSIONAL is just absolutely fucking nuts.

You wouldn't expect to be able to compete professionally in any other sport without previous experience so why would you assume you could in the toughest sport of all.

It's just ridiculous, can you imagine some guy who like to play on the pitch and putt at the weekend with his kids deciding he's good enough to enter one of the Golf Majors, how would he do realistically?

Or maybe someone who goes karting regularly suddenly being put behind the wheel of a Formula One car and lining up at the back of the grid for the Monaco Grand Prix.

It's just absurd to think these people could compete, the golfer would just humiliate himself on telly and the go kartist would likely get himself killed.

Nobody is saying TM, his wife or Thunder are failures as human beings because they arn't cut out for pro boxing, probably 90% of those of us on this site would do no better.

The difference is we have the sense to realise that we are unlikely to be able to stick on a pair of boxing gloves, step into a boxing ring and work our up to being a world champ, unless maybe it's on the Nintendo Wii.

Yeah, I agree with a lot of that, but as I haven't actually seen him train or know anything about his other fighters, I'm not gonna pass judgement on that, at the end of the day its his job, and I think at least he puts himself out there in a way very few of us on here do, so I give him props for that, but yeah I definitely agree, like I said above, his wife needs to retire, she's too old & gettin beaten down to set up better, younger fighters' careers, and that's not really a position to be in. Kid Thunder I'd heard about before I even joined this site, & to be honest with just 2 wins in 17 for his health he should give it up. I can understand wanting to carry on, but its no doubt guys like him who end up with pugilistic dementia & they don't get any interviews on TV for people to feel bad for them.

& Fenster, I can understand the bloodlust is quite high at the moment, but I would rather you had paid attention to the 2nd part of that bit, where I try & initiate a SaddoBoxer witchhunt as that was MY agenda

Thing is, in other sports, you have to "qualify" to be on a pro level. In racing you have to make the race. In golf, chances are that you golfed your whole life throughout school and someone saw your talent and took you to the next level.

In boxing, it seems like anyone can turn pro. Which is why Kid thunder actually has wins on his record. Looking at him, to think that he ACTUALLY beat two other fighters should be even scarier than his 14 losses or however many there are.

I just don't understand when kid thunder says he has love for the sport, yadda yadda, yet TM told us he barely trained and ate donuts. That's a lot of love and determination to succeed. I loved the sport of baseball throughout my whole life, which is why i played 11 of 12 months a year. I didn't talk about it on a message board, or make youtube videos of how my fastball reaches 90mph (it doesn't.. just an example ).

"In boxing, it seems like anyone can turn pro". It seems to be easier to do in the US than in the UK.
