Default Andre Ward's Next Logical Fight - Sakio Bika in Oakland?

Ward looked sharp against Miranda recently. He is ready to continue his march up the super middleweight rankings. Bute, Froch, and Kessler are out of the equation for the time being. Balzay isn't leaving the safe confines of Europe. How about Bika? His only losses have come against Calzaghe, Bute, and Solimon - Calzaghe said Bika was one of his toughest fights. He is on a six fight winning streak. Ward gets a strap if he beats him. With Showtime's interest in the division, they could probably land the fight on Showtime in the Fall.

Bika is a good choice, but also could be a career spoiler if some of those winging punches land.

Why not go to Germany to fight Balzay? Definately a winnable fight for Ward and I think it would make Europe aware of his presence. Not a bad
time for the SOG to travel.

Sakio Bika's a little too dangerous and very awkward to fight, i agree with Killersheep take on Karoly Balzsay atleast he'll be fighting for a title.

After watching Miranda in his last fight, I'm not sure if I want to watch him again. He seems to be regressing further and further down that slippery slope. Against ward he looked like a drunken barroom brawler!LOL

Would Balzay really get in the ring with Ward?

Bika has the IBO title, has nothing lined up, and would be willing to fight as long as he is on a major tv network.

Ward is probably the biggest payday Balzay could get right now.

Bute and Calzaghe among others struggled big time against the scorpion, he's tough, load of stamina, hits hard and has a very unusual style, I am not sure Ward has seen enough yet to drop in the ring with Sakio, sure he's damn talented but that one is VERY tricky and gave hell to the best. I say not yet.

Bika would be another good step up for Ward & although it is a winnable fight the risk/ reward factor would be an issue, Allan Green would be another guy but again it would be a big risk for little reward

I'm with the others that say he should travel & fight Balzsay

I would like to see Andrade/ Bika!

Andrade-Bika, that would be a seriously interesting fight, I doubt Andrade would take it right now though because he has a revenge in hand with bute and Bika is too much of a risk in the circumstances.

I like Miranda. And I was rootin for him against Ward. But he does kind of seem to be regressing a lot like Sam Peter did after the 2nd James Toney fight.

Just goin back to bein a right handed puncher and thats about it.
