I see one huge problem with this, is that if Mayweather-JMM isn't successful Mayweather won't have the proper acclaim or whatever you want to call it to demand a greater sum of money than Pacquiao should they fight, and you know he will regardless of how this fight does in terms of sales.
Well we have our own personal preferences... I'm not buying the PBF-JMM fight coz I'm expecting it to be a boring fight with all the waiting for both boxers and some running from PBF... I might just sleep through the fight and I just rather spend my $49.95 for other interesting/exciting boxing fights... (Note: I slept during the PBF-Baldomir fight)
Another reason of course is the boycott in hope that PPV sales will be low and will make PBF realize that he's not the cash cow he's bragging about...
.
Cuz your not a Boxing fan. I bet you if Pac signed to rematch David Diaz (a worthless a fight if there ever was one) you would everything in your power to get the PPV. You would steal from your mom's purse. Pawn your grandma's walker. I bet you will even kill your sisters chihuahua, grind his ass up and sell brugers to your friends to raise PPV money.
I already told you, I won't be buying this possible boring tune-up fight between PBF and JMM... Huh? You're comparing it to the entertaining PAC-Diaz fight?? I predict there will be no comparison VD... The beautiful boxing, the accuracy, the ohhs and ahhhs from the ringside audience, the blood, I think can't be duplicated in this upcoming boring PBF-JMM fight...
Just look at these pics...
As much as I like Pacquiao, I can't wait until Floyd beats him.
I think it will be more of Floyd's waiting and running... but both will be waiting for each other on who will throw first in the early rounds... From middle to late in the fight, JMM might press a bit after sensing that he's at a loss when PBF just potshots him and run...
Definitely I can see a potential boring tactical waiting game fight...
.
Hatton / Pacquiao didn't sell out until two weeks before the fight. I think the poor economy was a major factor there. I don't think we can use the same logic with this one although it is still a big fight. Vegas will probably get more excitement giving odds on the PPV and gate sales. +300K, -450K,
I'll watch the fight, but I'll just watch it on live stream. There is just not enough excitement to make a PPV buy a forget about a trip to Vegas. It does have the potential to be a more entertaining than Berto/Urango. Did you even get through the fight? I sure didn't.
