I watch a Clottey fight, I think it was Corrales and the announcer said against Judah he was 160 lbs? Against Corrales he was 170 lbs

It was HBO that had him down at 156 on their unofficial weigh-in.

Clottey standing infront of Margacheato and hold his own... Cotto didn't do it against Margo specially in the early rounds... Clottey could be the bigger man than Cotto...

Being the bigger man means you could be the bigger puncher as well as taking shots better. The reason we have weightclasses.

but he was easily outboxing Margarito for the first 6 rnds straight, IMO i had Cotto ahead of Tony by the time of the stoppage, and that's the difference, he won't have to stand in front of Clottey to outbox him now will he, plus Clottey is HARDLY an offensive type fighter, he waits and likes to counter, if it comes to who's the better counter puncher sorry but IMO Cotto wins there also, Cotto to win by a comfortable UD or 10th rnd TKO, from a left to the body

I am still under the impression that Clottey is an overhyped fighter. I really don't think he stand's a chance against Cotto even at a higher weight but I guess that's the reason they fight. He has shown decent skill but I don't think he is a champion caliber fighter that's always been my opinion but again I guess we will see Saturday.

I think Clottey is going to get hit with everything but the kitchen sink. Cotto is obviously the better boxer and puncher but Clottey seems to have an iron chin and great stamina. I could see Clottey wearing down Cotto who can fade in the later rounds. I think this is a great fight and cant wait. I will say Cotto by decision but I think there can be quite a few other endings that happen...

Cant wait to crack open a beer and watch this one!

Clottey is a strong fighter with solid D. However, he'll need to be more active to beat Cotto. He needs to test Cotto's chin as much as possible.

Cotto didn't look himself in his last match even though it was against Jennings. Also, Arum chose the opponents carefully for the Pavlik and Cotto come back fights. That Pavlik fought a top ten opponent and Cotto fought a fighter who no one had ever heard of may be indicative of something...

Well he is known here in the UK but it was just a payday for Jennings and Cotto got the vacant WBO title in a winnable fight, it was a suitable fight after suffering such a loss I think.

Since when did Cotto step into the ring at 154ish? He didn't do that when he was fighting at 140. He definitely steps in at 160+ these days. As for their fights with Margarito, Clottey didn't really stand his ground, and his resolve didn't last as long as Cotto's, I just think he had better durability, that has only a small correlation with size. Cotto was more powerful than Mosley when they fought, but look at both their fights against Margarito.

I can also see Cotto taking the early rounds by boxing Clottey and moving/bouncing a lot all over the ring... Clottey will always pressure Cotto by constantly moving forward with his arms in high tight defensive guard... Clottey will mostly throws counterpunches, fast stinging combos from a high guard defense when he has a chance to catch Cotto infront of him... I predict Cotto will tire first because of the constant movement/bouncing in the early rounds then he will be forced to stand there toe-to-toe with Clottey and this is where Clottey will pick him up, probably landing a brutal uppercut since Cotto is susceptible to uppercuts during infighting...

Clottey's open to the body while having his earmuffs on, and IMO not as quick nor as sharp as Cotto, hasn't had the quality opponents either
