A lot was made of the fact that The Mayweather fight was going head to head against the latest UFC card.

Which had the most PPV sales in the USA?

Easily boxing. But i dont think UFC numbers are made public. The only thing we have to go on is what the UFC hype machine says.

It wouldnt surprise me if they wait until the boxing numbers are out at like 500,000 and they come out like "We did 500,001!"

I think it was a given that Boxing would win. I believe the insiders were expecting around 600K buys for Mayweather and around 300K buy for UFC.

I am not the biggest UFC fan, but I don't think their card was very strong.

Now it looks like the Mayweather buys are around or over 1 million!
