    Default Sergiy Dzinziruk?

How is he 36-0 22 knockouts, and I havent really heard much of him? Olympic pedigree starts fighting in U.K. then mainly sticks to Eastern European fights. He has the WBO strap at LMW which means he gets easy mandatorys. He has solid wins albeit they were in Germany. I was just wondering if he was for real, or another inflated WBO champ with lucky homecooking.

I honestly haven't seen much of him myself other than clips, but heard some other more knowledgeable posters giving him good chances against any other 154lber...so I guess you could say he's the real deal, he was offering to fight pwill I think, when pwill was going around claiming nobody wanted to fight him, yet pwil did what most others did to him decide that the risk reward isn't worth it.

Paul was going to fight him then Pavlik came around, can't blame him for taking that fight. Much more for his resume

Oh I'm not blaming williams really...I didn't mean to criticize him and I don't think I did I just merely stated what he did, which made way more business sense...it's just funny cause for a while you know other fighters were just doing what made more business sense for them and he was calling them out...can't blame him tho for real.

Sergiy is a good little fighter. He's athletic, smart, composed with a good jab and pretty much every other punch in his arsenal. He's in no way a big hitter and not even an accumulation puncher but he has very short punches with good footwork and he really stays in control the whole time he's in there. He's OK defensively but what I think his ultimate flaw is the fact has very little head movement and when you begin fighting the elite fighters they are simply going to time you and even if you partially block everything, those shots get through it's been proven time and time again.

Upon second look, the only guy who looks good to beat him is Williams. Wow. Cory Spinks definitely would have a shot but his legs began to look a little shot in the Latimore fight and I definitely think he is at the end of his rope, at least as a top 5 fighter. I would loved to be proven wrong, I actually really like Spinks.

And Sergio Martinez. I rate Dzidzurik from what I've seen right behind Sergio and Paul as the third best in a pretty deep division. I'd like to see how he would fair against Alfredo Angulo.

You know, I thought his guy was going to be poo. When it came out that PW was going to be fighting him I did some research and downloaded some fights. I'm not an analyst by any stretch of the imagination but he's a very very good technical boxer IMO and would give PW definate problems for sure. He beats Martinez for me as he'd be busier. He lacks a bit of dynamite in his gloves but hes a very accurate puncher with a top jab. I think a very good match-up would be against Angulo, with AA comin forward and Sergei playin boxer...... Could be top. SD can take a good shot too......

He's definately much much better than you would expect for a fighter youv'e never heard of with such a record. For instance Salita, with his record, Khan his going to beat him handily for sure IMO. He's definately not a Salita, he'd hold his own in the division I think.

    He would beat Spinks.

He can fight, very good fighter. Hes tall, a southpaw, good chin, good jab and solid all around ability. Aside from PW he is the most dangerous and avoided Light Middleweight. I actually favor him to beat PW if it ever happens, which it wont. I think hes a stylistic nightmare for Paul and most guys in the division.

Dzindziruk is a good fighter, but he has been inactive this year. I hope the potential bout with Spinks for the end of October gets done. That's a good fight & very winnable for Dzindziruk!
