Dont ever remember watching Enrique Ornelas fight.
Is he any good?
Does he stand a chance?

Answer is no........ I watched him in a belter of a fight though with the guy pavlik beat the living daylights out of, Rubio....... Unless Hopkins has aged over night it'll be lopsided for sure.....
Tough, limited but does not dog it....which equals getting beaten up by even a shadow Of Hopkins.
He's Librado Andrade's brother. 4 of his 5 losses have been by SD or MD. Two of those should of been wins for him. His other loss was a stoppage one in which if I remember correctly he was way ahead on points after flooring his opponent 3 or 4 times before getting caught. He's not a bad fighter. Certainly not as bad as some are making him out to be. I seriously doubt many on this forum have seen him fight. They just going off his record. But he's far from elite. Only chance he has would be to out work Hopkins. But it won't happen. Hopkins takes an easy points win
Right on VD, I completely agree with your comment on Ornelas. I was actually at the Olympic the night Enrique had his 1st loss. He was clearly beating Cruz when he went to the ropes droped his left hand and got caught with a clean right hook that dropped him and he didn't recover.
Enrique is blood and guts and will not back down.
The rematch vs. McKart is in the top 5 of 2007. A fucken thriller of a fight... Recommend it to everyone.
Doesnt have the tools to beat B-Hop he isnt super fast, he isnt real powerful, hes a workman type boxer with an average defense. His best qualitys are chin and heart and thats not gonna do it against Hopkins. Hopkins will eat this guy for lunch. Only way he wins is if Hopkins comes in shitty condition and doesnt throw many punches.
Should be an easy night for Hopkins, I see it going something like what he did to Hakkar... without the track shoes as Ornelas will come to fight
The Best There Is, The Best There Was, The Best There Ever Will Be
I know next to nothing about the guy Hopkins is fighting, but I wouldn't be all that surprised if a combination of his age and his looking forwards to the Jones fight saw Hopkins struggle a bit.
it won't be an easy night for hopkins because this guy is a tough fighter but hopkins will win because he's 2-3 levels above ornelas. one things for sure, ornelas is going to make hopkins work for this victory but at the end i see hopkins too big, too fast, too good for the tough but somewhat limited ornelas.
