Default Nigel Wright vs Alex Arthur

Hi folks,as Khans first defence of his WBC title comes this weekend up here where i live in Newcastle,im making note on who do you think will win the 8 rounder fight between Nigel Wright vs Alex Aurther?Aurther is stepping up a weight to meet Wright at light welterweight and for me i reckon Nigel Wright will out box Aurther.Nigel Wright is a local lad of mine and boxes out for Gus Robinsons stable(i worked alongside gus a year ago or soo as a builder).I've always highly rated Nigel Wright,he's a really good southpaw boxer. He's a real threat in the british scene. With this only being a 8 rounder i feel that Nigel Wright will be the far better boxer.

I used to watch Alex Arthur years ago but he then became a ghost in the game,i dont know how he is as a boxer now,i suspect he could be past it,one thing is for sure is that he cant be comfortable with his old weight.

Trust me Nigel Wright will win this one.Going to have a bet at the bookies i think!

Im going with Arthur just the fact he is a class above Wright but I wouldnt be suprised it Wright wins but that will just be down to Arthur being shot to bits, If Arthur has anything left I think he wins.

Well Arthur has'nt been busy for ages.Nigel will find this 8 rounder easier than Arthur,as Arthur has'nt fought at that kind of weight before, were its Nigel natural weight at light welterweight.I rate Nigel really high in the british ranks, higher than Arthur after all Arthur has been living it really low key in the boxing scene over the last 2or3 years. He's just disappeard from off the boxing radar over the last couple of years has'nt he really. For me Nigel Wright is the better boxer,i would'nt have said that 3or4 years ago at the time when Authur was in his prime and busy making a name for himself.

AA should win this. He takes a while to get going but 8 rounds is enough to show his class.

You could be rite on this one Peter, Arthur is not looking to convincing recently, I would defintly not pick either one with much confidence there is to many questions about Arthur to do so, but like I said If I had to put my neck on the line Arthur is the better fighter by some margain prime fro prime.

    I just checked the odds:

    Arthur 1/20

    Wright 15/2

Now that is intresting, Arthur much better fighter but he has never fought at 140 and has looked shite for a longtime, Wright could be a value bet at them odds, I thought Arthur would of been around 1/5, 1/20 bit over priced imo.

Thanks!Im not surprised at all me.I knew all along Wright would be the winner as soon as this fight was made.People under rate Wright, its all because his name does'nt stand out because of decisions have'nt been awarded to him as there should of.I remember when he got robbed out of Prizefighter the welterweights when he beat Lomax in the semi, though with him being a 4/1 shot under dog the bookies conned the win and awarded Lomax the win instead. It was obvious Wright totally out boxed Lomax.Wright would have won the whole tournament if the robbing bookmakers did't con the fooker.Nigel Wright is a classy british welterweight and it should tonight against Arthur.

Arthur was 1/20 on "fooking joke that!!!

I didnt you know wish I did, as soon as I saw the odds of 1/20 I thought them odds were way off, and im like Fenster in that way I like to back value and there was tons of value there just forget alll about it .

Nigel Wright is aiming for a british title now.Nigel Wright has never been Knocked down and like i mentioned before i really think he's a worthy title holder. Its just the fact that he's been robbed with crappy decisions over the years, but after beating Arthur as i nknew he would he can now aim for a British title.Nigel Wright is as good as any welterweight bristish fighter out there.

Well done Nigel!!!!Congrats and thanks for making me £££s as i knew you would
