Thread: Khan v Mitchell - maybe next summer!

Frank Warren was on talk sport this morning (if I can get a link later I will post it) and he said that he wants to put Khan v Mitchell on in the summer in a football stadium. Would be a huge domestic fight!

He was also slagging off internet boxing forums for racisim towards Khan

I'm guessing Frank wants to put this fight on as once Amir moves stateside he will probably ditch Warren to sign with a US promoter.

I'm fairly sure once Khan goes to America he will become a Golden Boy fighter, it seems the most logical move seeing the relationship they have with HBO.

Maybe Khan Mitchell is Warren's final big cash in?

Is Warren ginger? I've honestly never noticed his head, I just get transfixed by those amphibian eyes and wonder if he really is a giant toad or chameleon camouflaged in human skin....

and to be honest i haven't looked around at the other forums as it always leaves me with a dirty feeling but if they have been letting racist comments slide then i think warren has a right to rant about it.

if however they have been inturpreteted as racist for simply not rating Khan then that is out of order

I never look at any other forums either, so haven't seen any of it. He did say that the forums had removed the comments, once they had been identified.

Yup - and you can imagine the type of people making the comments! The same people that make you embarassed to admit being British when you go to a football match or into a pub abroad

Warren's been planning this for a few years. Especially makes sense now with Khan promotions set up.

Mitchell-Prescott was a great move.

Should happen sooner rather than later, their careers could go in completely different directions in 18 months time, in terms of success and size.

What is Khan's promotional setup?

Mitchell wont fight Marquez, Marquez is above the Alphabet shite now, so now Kev is the Mandatory no chance a 36 year old Marquez fights so unknown young fighter he is only after the big fights ( mainly money fights ). I see Marquez vacating and Mitchell fighting Katsidis.
