No way was that round of the year, was quite uneventful apart from the knockdown and the finish, recovery of the year maybe, but round of the year no way not even close.
Maidana/Ortiz round 1
Froch/Taylor round 11/12
Lopez/Mtagwa round 12
Off the top of my head all them 4 rounds shit on that round.
Paul Samuels v Cello Renda round 2
Do not let success go to your head and do not let failure get to your heart.
JML was in retreat for the entire 12th round, the only exciting thing about that round was whether or not JML could survive.
Carl Froch vs Jermain Taylor 12th round was exciting, but again it was a one sided round.
This round had one of the best turn arounds in a single round, i've ever seen. It's for certain probably tied with Maidana/Ortiz because of the finish and the added drama of the knockdown, and the knockdown previously in the 1st round, adds to the drama.
i personally think the 1st round of williams - martinez was a decent one
also one of the early rounds in the marquez-diaz fight, maybe the 4th was a brilliant round
Maidana-Ortiz round 1 was round of the year for me. Renda-Samuels round 2 was better than the above round too.
I just watched Renda vs Samuels round 2 that was great aswell, a double knockdown great stuff. For certain up there as the ROTY.
Mtagwa/Lopez
Williams/Martinez
Ortiz/Maidana
Those all had huge action! It's a tough call. I may say Williams Martinez. I expected it to be a great fight but it even surprised ME!
