I can't say I'm surprised...I mean boxers do this all the time
Bad ending written all over this sadly
What happened to his promotional work in Mexico, thought it was all going well ?
Yay
If you can't beat jive ass Diaz who you gona beat
Utterly sad.
1 question comes to mind. Is he broke?
Lets hope for his sake they feed him some patsies.
Gotta love the quote post-Diaz:-
"No more fighting. I am done. Too many punches, particularly to the head area."
Erik is one of my favourite ever fighters, I really hope it doesn't end badly for him.
"I take good care of my people. I like to inflict permanent psychological damage."
Meh, it's his choice at the end of the day. If he's gonna do it, he's gonna do it so we might as well get behind him.
Welterweight is way too big for Morales.
But if he wants to fight again I say let him fight Jose Luis Castillo.
That would be a marketable fight and a winnable one for Morales.
I'd watch it.
"You knocked him down...now how bout you try knockin me down ?"
yea i agree, although i don't think he should
he's not broke, made plenty in his career and invested well, still making money from his promotion company and boxing magazine
his job as head of sports and recreation in Tijuana is basically done for free, he donates his paycheck to be able to help run it
I think he should fight Hatton at super middleweight .Both would'nt need that much training then to get to the weight
