Default Soto three weight world champ?

Not to sure if he was the full WBC Champ at 126, but after saturday I think that makes him a 3 weigh world champ. That is a bit bizzare as he hasn't really fought any one of real note other than Guzman who he was well beaton by. Does this achievement alone make you a Hall of famer or does he need more names?

Yeah, I think Juarez is still his biggest win. And with so many different belts you can be a hall of famer merely by moving up in weight and being a decent fighter. No, he is not a hall of famer.

Well this is true, but all three belts have been the WBC.

I'll probably get criticized for saying this, but Soto beat Guzman in their fight. Or at least a draw, it was close but Soto was much more active . The commentators were wayy up Guzman's ass

Mate you will get shit for this, what fucking fight were you watching?? Guzman totally outclassed him, I remember the fight very well, that fight alone I think alot of people started to think Guzman was a great fighter.

Yeah, but they were the interim and vacant WBC belts. Even the WBC has watered down ways to win one of their many belts in a single weight class. Nowadays, you have to go by the names on the resume instead of title belts. The WBC use to be so reputable. Its getting bad.

It definately was closer than the scorecards indicated, I guess its one of those fights that one hasa different opinion from everyone else. I might re watch it just for the hell of it, and ill bump this thread up if I score it differently.
