    Default another wrong come back

Eric Lucas will fight Andrade this summer, sorry for the link in french:

    Canoë - Sports - «C’est ce que je voulais»

He was already back like 2 months ago but apparently, the idea was to fight lower name opponents just for the sake of boxing. I wasn't against it, not too dangerous for the health and well, if the guy loves boxing, it's a good way to do what you love without being in danger.
Eric Lucas is one of the nicest guy we had in boxing, the guy had a correct talent but became champion trimming damn hard and he's one of the prime responsible about popularity of boxing in Canada but now, to face Andrade at 39 years of age, this is plainly wrong. I understand he wants to dream his dream once more against prime opponents but it is not what it was supposed at the beginning and I really believe it can only be harmful for his health.

why Eric why, you can fill the Bell center with lower opponents, doing what you love and not risking your health, where is your mind on that one ...

You know is really funny how fighters don't learn off one another's mistakes....I wish guys would stop the comeback thing when they are past it physically...(Can't really say age anymore because at one time 33 was old for a boxer...Today 35-40 and over is not that uncommon)......bad for the sport most of all dangerous for the fighters.....Safety is most important...Too bad a system or test other then a neuro test is not required for fighters that retire then comeback...

Some sort of test that can compare their reflexes now to that of their prime.....Maybe after seeing how far they have declined with med proof they will think twice...

Like you said a fight here or there against no namers is OK if all the fighter wants is to keep busy and maybe relive a moment of his past like Hearns does every so often....
