First nomination for 2012 is ALL-ROUNDER category:
ROGER ADOLPH

What ever happened to the Plessis family from Sparwood i remember them from the 90s. My son fought one of them a couple of times, dont remember the names tho.

THE 2012 JOURNEY IS ONGOING with Nominations
As of now there are 13 nominations for 2012 but there is still
an opportunity for further ones.

The first nomination for 2012 was ROGER ADOLPH as an all-rounder,
For the Junior/Youth Boxing Category one name nominated is TONY DUFFY.

Of interest the Event nomination to-date is the
1984 CANADIAN JUNIOR NATIONALS and SENIOR BOX-OFFS
that would decide the final 1984 Boxing Canada Olympic Team.

THE PROCESS CONTINUES IN 2012

As of May 2012, there are twenty nominees for 2012.

THE FIRST ROUND IN THE 2012 SELECTION PROCESS IN PROGRESS

STEPS ARE NOW BEING TAKEN to decide on the selected
ones for 2012. Upon completion of the complete process
the ones selected will be reported as soon as possible.

2014 Inductees announced today January 1, 2014

Eleven new inductees:
Bert Wilkinson, Billy Townsend, Bob Pegues,
Harry Twist, Jack Meda, Jamey Ballard,
Jimmy McMillan,Jeff Yule, Kit Munro
William J. Finlay, and
1994 Victoria Commonwealth Games boxing

after five years, the names keep growingIn 2013 there was a good range of boxers and builders such as George Nepper, Mickey Griffin and Jack Snaith.

For year 2014, there were 11 names including pioneers Billy Townsend and William Finlay
, boxers included all rounder Jimmy McMillan, and boxers Jack Meda and Kit Munro.
builders included Harry Twist, Bob Pegues and Jeff Yule. For events, the
1994 Commonwealth Games boxing in Victoria was selected.

Potential nominees for 2015 are being looked at with early bird names
being Geronimo Bie and Ken MacDonald in the boxer category, David Habib and Dale Gatin as builders and a potential pioneer Howard Curling who served in the fifties to the eighties.
