Default Why Is Yonnhy Perez Fighting Joseph Agbeko Again ?

Not that im saying that's a bad fight, but what im saying is that why isn't Abner Mares getting a immediate rematch ? i thought Abner Mares beat Yonnhy Perez and he's more deserving. Although Perez/Agbeko was a very good action fight, i thought Yonnhy Perez was a clear winner by a few rounds.

News to me ? Was one of the better ones and actually think it will live up to it in repeat. Sadly I think it has more to do with network going for duplication, ratings rather than who is deserved but should be a scrap. Getting more and more of it.

right now, i think abner mares can beat any of the bantamweight world champions which include, fernando montiel, yonnhy perez and anselmo moreno.

i think he already beat perez, would be too young and fresh against the much traveled montiel and would stalk the runner moreno all night for a comfortable decision.

the fight i want to see in the future is between abner mares and nonito donaire. i think mares would eat him up and spit him out. but i also think this bout is highly unlikely to happen because 1. mares isn't a midget, 2. is young and can actually fight and 3. donaire would be fighting an opponent who is actually better than him.

It was a foty candidate, I dont doubt Mares will get his rematch, but I dont think he won convincingly at all like some of you seem to think. Dont count out Agbeko.

Showtimes trying to put on a tournament with Agbeko, Perez, Montiel, Darchinyan, Mares and Chris Martin hmm. This might be the first fight in the tournament.
