    Default Mayweather

So I've came to the conclusion that its no purpose to even debate who he can would give him even a challenge. Earlier today I was talk about the Super Middle weight tournament and I mentioned Andre Dirrell VS Andre Ward, someone cut me off saying Mayweather would beat the SHIT out of these 2 guys. At least he has die hard boxing fans i guess.

    IS anyone feeling like me?

the super middleweights are a bit too far

although williams wasnt looking amazing against cintron, and on that performance youd say both would probably beat him quite confortably

ya terrorsid, he is pulling himself off the table of late for talk regarding any fights. Just too much bs going on. Its time for us to realize it and get more excited about things like Direll and Ward, other good match ups coming, good prospects etc. Its a shame with all his talent, but for now just how it is.

i completrly agree i'm excited about that match between dirrell vs ward. Really the whole Super Six Tournament those were good fights to meI think Ward takes the whole thing.

Paul Williams no longer competes at WW...Besides they are the #1 and #2 P4P fighters in the world...Rank then as you wish....Being the best WW is not high on thier list

154 is the limit for both me in hopes of being on the level they are able to compete ate...The idea of either at SMW is just outright crazy.....

Even if they had limited success...

AA- Manny took steps back when Clottey landed clean how would he be able to hold up to a monstor puncher like AA..

AA has some of the tightest defernse in boxing and would force Floyd to come to him ealry on....Floyd is not going to get into a toe to toe trade off with AA and Floyd is not strong enough to hurt AA...If mosley had him on Queer street AA would have him thinking he is still at his baby mama's stealing the child support back

Dirrell...Both men as fast as Dirrell for certain but Dirrell is fast enough and long enopugh to ruin both mens days...He is stronger then they are as well....,

Ward would beat either man up on the inside.....

Froch would make both men work for all they had throughput the fight and his size advantage would be his key to winning late because he has great stamina and more of it would be taken out of them then Froch...By round 10 either man would be there for the KO

A good big man will beat a good little man...a great little man can beat a good big man.....

Elite big men with power, speed and over all boxing ability will beat the good little men any day of the week, these guys would not fight weight drained and none are past thier best.....

Whoever picked Manny and Floyd to win know nothing of what they speak about....

Whats next Floyd KO's Wlad to set up a mega fight with Vitali?

Paul Williams is a gifted guy who isn't a great boxer, I don't know what the hype is with him. He really isn't that great considering what he has to work with. Hearns made way better use of similar weapons.

Paul Williams: Floyd Mayweather won't fight me as I don't have a va**na

Paul Williams Blasts Floyd Mayweather: He Won't Fight Me - Boxing News BY MICHAEL MARLEY

"I don't think Floyd Mayweather will fight me anytime," Williams said. "Manny Pacquiao, he MIGHT Do it, he Might Step Up, But NOT Floyd.

    "I guess Floyd Won't fight me because I Don't have a va**na."

"I was in the barbershop in (Washington) D.C., the other day and the guys were talking about it. They respect Floyd's skills like I do but they were saying they know he won't ever fight me," Williams said.

"If Floyd went to Al and said, "Hey, I want to fight Paul Williams, what can Al do? But Floyd is not going to ever say that. Pacquiao, He Fights BIGGER Guys, He's Different Than Mayweather so maybe I Will Get To Fight Him."

Like many others, Williams thinks Mayweather's OBSESSION is Being UnDefeated.

"Floyd ranks himself with Ray Robinson, with Joe Louis, all these guys..but all those great guys, they all lost sometime. Mayweather WON'T Take a Hard Fight, He WON'T Take the Chance Of LOSING."

    Peterson's assessment is similar.

"Pacquiao, He LOVES To Fight. Mayweather is his own manager, he's a smart businessman. Paul is not old enough for Floyd to fight. Floyd Likes To WAIT Until a Guy is OLD. Pacquiao is More GUTSY than Floyd is," Peterson said.

Williams notes that the structure of boxing is that the best often don't fight the best.

"I can make 147 (pounds) for Floyd or for Manny if I have to and I would," Williams said. "But this isn't like baseball or football where the best teams are mandated to play each other. In boxing, these guys don't want to give me the shot."

Mayweather is a proven clean athlete and for that he'll always have my full respect in the world of boxing.

I'm not bothered if he fights paul williams or not they're in different divisions. i suppose floyd could always make paul fight at lower weight that williams can't healthily make, (like paquiao did with DLH and cotto) as manny will tell you it's much easier to beat a weight drained opponant, especuially when your on the roids too.....

I don't think Floyd is going to fight again for a long time. Maybe not even ever again. He's got a whole load of legal shit on, Uncle roger has a whole load of legal shit on, his mind can't be on the boxing right now. Add to that floyd ain't getting any younger.

paul williams has healthily fought at welterweight several times

im not sayin floyd doesnt deserve what he has achieved and shouldnt be considered as one of the top fighters in the world at the minute, if not the top

i just think this pound for pound thing is a bit of a gray topic

paul williams can fight at welterweight, floyd is a welterweight, pacmans last fight was at welterweight

Sir, allow me to bid you the ultimate compliment. You sound exactly like, and think laterally like your idol Floyd Mayweather Jr. You have increasingly become an icon here with your striking posts of legendary proportion.

I am sure, aware you are of how great it is to sound and think like the pound for pound king, Floyd Jr., you feel that the appreciation is somewhat unrecognized here. Allow me therefore to break the ice. I do find a vast interest with the value of that your posts on here brings.

You have mastered with ease that ability... my hats off.

Hopefully, as Floyd Jr. steps painfully closer for greener pastures, you can, and will continue on with this brand, and allow us to bear in awe with such.

Lastly, the point with weightier significance is, to please let us not write off Li'l Floyd yet, for we will stand to benefit, thrilled no end, to see Jr. cast in one of, if not "the" greatest boxing match we will ever get to see in our era.

Floyd Joy Mayweather Jr. is innocent folks, until proven guilty. He deserves that!

I am unmanageably farting bombs of epic proportion when I read this thread. I Wonder why.
