Default Hasegawa fight - who's watching? (Result)

Tremendous fight. Some fierce exchanges throughout. Ended as a slugfest as Hasegawa tired. Burgos showed a granite chin - took a million flush lefthands. Wobbled Hasegawa in the 7th but he came roaring back (might have been a stumble).

    Hasegawa a clear UD winner.

Burgos looked much bigger. Hasegawa took some serious hits himself in this fight so maybe the step-up in weight has helped him.

Damn it I was one of the very few who thought Burgos would pull this off. More points behind in the prediction league

Hozumis not as clean of a fighter as he was before.
He seems to be lacking in his defense now' a days.

Burgos was game all the way but Hozumi fought well to clearly win it.
I only gave 2 rounds to Burgos and I still can't figure out why the ref. deducted a point from Burgos. The clash was accidental...

The WBC have a rule that states - the fighter NOT cut in a head clash gets a point deducted. It's clearly a pathetic rule. Like their pathetic reveal of the scores during the fight.

I agree Hasegawa's defence was terrible. I think this guy is superb but it's easy to see now why he was caught out up in class. Superb fighter nonetheless.
