Thread: Adamek - Maddalone, today

I can understand Adamek wants to earn some easy $ but still, this bout shouldn't be main event. What are the chances of Maddalone being a threat to Adamek today. I can't stop thinking that such uneven match up would never be possible in UFC (except as a freak fight). Or am I mistaken about Maddalone?

Maddalone has about the same chance as James Toney did against Randy Couture. A punchers chance.

He has a punchers chance but Adamek has a great chin even at heavy...so he's shit out of luck

He'll outbox Maddalone with ease...the only question for me is whether or not he'll press for a stoppage.

Ive not actually been overly impressed by Adamek at heavyweight. Sure he's been in some exciting fights but that's in a large part due to the fact that everyone has been very competitive against him.

I expect him to beat Maddalone, but I also expect him to have to work to do it.
