It's a pretty tough ask ......... being a boxer who is Tommy Hearns' son. Jesus, have some pity on the guy.

It don't help that his hunger desire and need would not have been as great as his dad. His upbringing would not have been as tough as his dads. Thomas hearns more than likely came from poverty (or close) where as his son would have had a more priveledged upbringing.

Thomas Hearns needed to fight, his son just wants to.

Can't blame him for wanting to be like his dad anyone who is proud of their dad would want to.

If my dad was the hitman i would have tried harder at boxing too

his name has got him a title shot when perhaps he shouldn't have been there but he still getting punched in the face and facing the same risks as everyone else so fair play to him.

Cheers, Just didn't want to see people start giving Hearns a load of insults, no need some people just lucky to get decent breaks in life and he has made the most of his. With the money and fame that comes with the family name he could just as easily ended up partying his life away and falling into a bad way of life.

He should be applauded if anything

    Only just watched the fight.

He was up against a very good fighter, with one of the best jabs I've seen for ages. He was getting tagged by it all night and the KO was brutal. Nothing to be ashamed of.

A long way to go yet, but his dad was a legend all you'll almost never live up to that, nostalgia alone makes it nearly impossible

Ya but dad was fun to watch, even though I hated him for knocking out Duran. Dad had a something like a chip on his shoulder when he fought, you watched him and is looked like he wanted to absolutely destroy his opponent. His punches had snap and follow though.

I can't say that for the son. He's got the skills but it seems there no will to want to hurt his opponent behind his fight. He just lacks that killer spirit that dad had.

Anyone else a little bitter at Sturms for even taking this fight? He leaves Universum to hopefully land better fights and we get this? Seriously? Guy's been champion for years and has yet to face anyone.
