Default Haye admits retirement date will be knocked back in order to face Vitali.

Not surprising really, I always felt that it was a negotiating tool rather than a genuine retirement date. After he beats Wlad the Haye vs Vitali fight will be huge as they would be able to use the same angle as when Sanders beat Wlad, "What would you do if someone did this to your little brother?"

why do boxers always talk about retiring then never stick to it.

Lol. Evander has just become a joke now and it's sad to see. We do need someone that can save the HW division and make it exciting again and if he was 20 years younger he would be the man for the job, BUT he isn't and I can't understand why he keeps kidding himself.

He'd be silly to retire at such a young age - it will lead to a comeback later I gurantee it. Best get it out of your system at the top than try and recapture it on a comeback.

It would be damaging to Hayes legacy in a long time to come if he retired so young. He has not had a long career. He could stick around for another 5 years beat up a weak division, retire with only 1 loss and it would look impressive in 30/40 years time especially to the people who are not around now.

If he doesnt lose to Klit that is

He will carry on if he beats both Klits, he would make far too much money for him to retire.

More nonsense from Haye. He's not fooling anyone. Only a fool would think that he would actually face Vitali after getting knocked out by Wlad.

If he beats them, a big if, but no one will walk away from that.
