Then responding to someone who said the press conference was more entertainign he replied "Everything was more entertaining than the fight."

In response to Haye's injured toe? "My toe hurt and as a result I couldn't move my fists."

LOL! Larry Merchant was in fine drunken form as well. He was even getting Lampley to ridicule 13 from about round five on. At one point Lampley says "Michael Spinks would have been ASHAMED to throw this few punches."

LOL! Larry Merchant was in fine drunken form as well. He was even getting Lampley to ridicule 13 from about round five on. At one point Lampley says "Michael Spinks would have been ASHAMED to throw this few punches."

I cant stand the commentators who have never laced up trying to get smart at another fighters exspense, winds me right up, especially those two clowns.

Lennox, George, Roy etc have (if they want to) earned the right to take the piss or say something funny, even if they dont mean too.

100% agree. And that is what irks me.

The best was when Larry Merchant said "Carl Froch would give a better fight than David Haye."
