Our most recent example of this would be Ortiz vs Mayweather. Trying to be too friendly get him KO'ed.
Also Mosley is always too damn nice wanting to touch gloves all the time and it cost him as well.
More examples?

Dark Lord constantly asking for more photos of me. Then he got KTFO.
HAHA that deserves a cool click
Thanks, mate. Its true you know. One minute Im telling the bloke that Cassius Clay is better than Lennox Lewis, and next thing you know he's telling me Im a flaming homo or something and commenting that my photo is of "a naked man". I do believe I have on black shorts there. Hardly naked! Guess he took too many headshots, and has a detached retina or 2.
Shane Mosley touching gloves v Floyd Mayweather and Pac Man.
Do not let success go to your head and do not let failure get to your heart.
Pac Man ain't a nice guy, at least, not once he steps into the ring. I mean, this is the guy who punched Marquez in the head whilst he was lying tangled amongst the ropes having already been knocked down by Pac seconds earlier. This isn't meant as a criticism, btw, before the Pactards come out of the woodwork. It's just part of boxing, and people really need to get over it and stop crying cos' a guy who launched a flying headbutt at another guy got KO'd. He got what he deserved. It's great when guys rise above these things and then demonstrate their superiority in style, as Floyd could easily have done, but at the end of the day, when you step into that ring instinct plays a massive part in what follows. I think people don't like what Floyd did merely because it acts as a mirror in which they're forced to witness the ugliness inherent in all of us. But then boxing also brings out the best in people, we see courage that goes beyond the limits of 'ordinary' people, like that young lad who was too brave for his own good against Morales - who was landing clean double right hands on his (terribly managed) cut eye - who had to be rescued by his corner, after Kenny Bayliss did everything in his power to bring the fight to a merciful end by presenting him to the doctor at ringside, who promptly decided that more blood was needed. That's boxing. It's a human drama, as much as it is a sport, moreso, perhaps, than any other sport.
Fighters should touch gloves just twice.. Once during the ref instructions and the other after the fight...
Anything in between is fair game... Im tired of all this glove touching, hugging, and kissing during a manly boxing match.. fuck all that..
This dude is trying to take my head off.. he's trying to take my livelyhood.. why should I foolishly touch gloves with this guy during battle?? that's just stupid.. That's not exactly good sportsmanship either.. It's just putting yourself at an unnecessary risk and im not having it...
I wouldn't exactly call a hypocryte who cries about elbows before a fight and then throws not only a head butt , but a full body butt in a sport where you already have a pass to beat the guys ass legally a nice guy.

ditto....and pac is a nice guy ? Why ? Shit pee wee herman looked like a nice guy too from what anyone could tell from watching him on tv. None of us know anything about any of these guys personally. Floyd could be the nicest and pac the biggest dick for all we know. Only in the wwe does the story line behind these guys matter in the ring. I still have yet to see the world nice guy belt handed out after a ppv
