How does it play out?
How does it play out?
Prime Hatton, Peak Hatton, over the hill Hatton, or any other version of Hatton... Pacquiao puts him to deep sleep.
Pacman by inhumane KO
The only difference I saw between Hatton that fought Pac and Prime Hatton.. He wasnt jabbing his way in against Pac which made him easy pickins and also his punch resistance was shot.
Then again the bombs he got caught with could have sparked Hagler
none the less Prime Hatton may of lasted another few rounds before being waffled

Prime Hatton or not, Pacquiao knocks him spark out.
Hatton always had trouble with southpaws.
He was rocked and dropped by Eamonn Magee and was also rocked badly by Luis Collazo.
Magee who was decent but nothing special and Collazo who didn't have alot of power. If they could hurt him then Pacquiao would of always been able to hurt Hatton.
Hatton could also hurt Pac Man, like JMM has done in the past and he gave Floyd hell for 6 rounds, I think it would be a good closed tough battle, prime for prime, in fact it would be a blood and guts war.
Do not let success go to your head and do not let failure get to your heart.
When I joined this sight in 2006 Ricky Hatton was indestructible in most peoples opinion.
I initially despised Hatton because a good legion of his fans were the same as Pactards. I really grew to like Ricky Hatton, I appreciated his cross over appeal and his down to earthness.
Its a shame he could never come back from the Mayweather loss. Ricky was on a mission not to be denied and absorbed a ton of punishment from Floyd. Flush right hands hooks, he got broken down badly. Ricky wasnt going to stop coming at Floyd until his chin couldnt take it anymore. He was a different fighter one of the few who fights to please the fans and that loss really embarrassed him
I will retract my previous post and say if Ricky was undefeated at 140 and fought Pac it would have been more competitive becuase his chin and confidence would be intact
I would strongly bet something like this
3-Time SADDO PREDICTION COMP CHAMPION.
Yeah I have seen that film...
and no I thought Hatton would be too big for Pac. I thought Hatton would beat him. With hindsight I believe Pac would spark him even in his pomp.
Hindsight... wonderful
3-Time SADDO PREDICTION COMP CHAMPION.
That Gorrilla Productions Hatton film was fantastic.
Almost tragic how his career ended. Great memories. (not the losing bit)
3-Time SADDO PREDICTION COMP CHAMPION.
I thought Hatton would beat him too.
Haha! Im about to watch it on Netflix. Haven't seen it in a few years but that movie is so outrageous I could watch it a million more times
Ricky Hatton always had trouble with Southpaw's ever since he was an Amateur, the fight wouldn't be much different except Ricky Hatton's punch resistance was a bit better in his prime, so he'd last a few more rounds.
Loop and repeat. Hatton has been a terrific boxer but Pac is just on another level.

That's the way it is, not the way it ends
Hatton would have been very competitive and who knows who would win..floyd already beat an undeafeated prime hatton..hatton would have landed a body shot and pac is done..dont count hatton out he was done when pac ko him.
The advantage is with pacman but every fighter who fights floyd knows thats the peak of their career.
Luis Collazo had em out on his feet, pretty much took him to hell and back during Hatton's prime although we can argue that 147 wasn't his best weight. Many people, including me, thought collazo won that fight..
PAcman beats any version of Hatton.. On a sidenote, I think 147 not being hatton's best weight was just an excuse cuz it's easy to say something like that after you lose. Regardless, I dont see hatton giving pacman any kinds of problems at any given time.
His whole game is to throw one punch and fall into a clinch and pacman would always have had an easy time catching him..
