Thread: Vic Darchinyan's fighting future?!

Ok so on Sherdog.com there is a video of Vic Darchinyan saying that after this up coming fite he will be making a move to MMA. There has been talk of this for a while actually but finally a video where he actually says it (please see link below)...

And then there's this article (link below) talking about how he wants to move up to featherweight and take on the like of Chris John and Billy Dib.

Can somebody please shed some light on what exactly Vic Darchinyan wnats to do coz I'm confused as all hell!!!

guess he thinks he can juggle both sports

Yeah I find it a little strange, if he defeats Moreno he is right in the mix for a rematch with Mares or Agbeko. I think he also makes for some fun fights if he moves up in weight

I think it would be a mistake for him to move to MMA at this stage of his career, sure he can punch but his ground game must be very limited

True and that crab style of his wont cut it in mma once he meets someone who knows what they are doing, they'll read him like large print and kick out his blind side.
