Agreed, I can see Maia taking this to the ground, Bisping is by far the better striker, albeit Maia's has improved in recent fights.
Maia hasnt submitted an opponent in quite some time, he's due one for me.
When did Maia turn into a wrestler? Bisping has very good t/d defence.
I carnt recall me ever saying Maia had turned into a wrestler, but his BJJ is of a very high standard, he would have a better chance on the ground than on the feet, Bispings kick boxing would allow him to keep Maia at range and pop him with 1-2's for a UD.
You said he is due a sub to do that he needs to go Bisping down. He isn't a wrestler. Make sense?
Ya dont have to be a top draw wrestler to take someone down mate. His bjj is one of the best in MMA, so from the clinch he can take him down with a trip or throw. Simples

No but it helps when your fighting a guy who has excelent t/d defence. Bit like when he fought Anderson and didn't get him down with the...clinch.

I was simply taking from that fight that he can't use the clinch nor can he wrestle top guys.
