A well deserved shot for Macklin in what should have been a unification fight. He will give it his all and it will be a good watch......whilst it lasts

this is kind of like the Vitali/Chisora situation, Chisora was robbed against Helenius and Vitali stepped up and gave the real winner a crack at his belt, Martinez seems to be doing the same
Why are our talented British fighters being destroyed by Martinez?
Do not let success go to your head and do not let failure get to your heart.
Macklin gets knocked out
He Who Is Brave Is Free
Wisdom, compassion and courage are the three universally recognised moral qualities of men.
It's unfortunate for him, but he's not going to get that big fight he is seeking. Mayweather, Pacquiao, Cotto just aren't biting. Chavez Jr. would rather vacate the belt than fight him. There isn't anyone else between 50-60. He'll be forced to clean out the middleweight division until he slips with age. Macklin was in as tight of a fight with Sturm as you can be really. Given Sturm's fight with Murray last, I'm not even sure a fight with Sturm is any better. Geale is taking on a mandatory in the Spring. Geale in Australia in the Fall may be the best Martinez can get. Pirog is wasting away not fighting anyone. Below that in the division, there are a good number of fighters, but they're a ways off from being ready and/or marketable enough for Martinez.
I think Martinez will win although its another chance for Macklin to show whats he got to a bigger audience.
Marquez will find Macklin easier than Barker. Good style match-up for him. Should be an exciting fight whilst it last though.
Think i'd rather see Macklin-Lee.
3-Time SADDO PREDICTION COMP CHAMPION.
i seem to agree with everyone else on this
i hate to say it but i think it will probably be over before 8
Officially the only saddo who has had a girlfriend
Is the consensus among the British fans here that Barker is better than Macklin?
