Default Celestino Caballero vs Juanma lopez

How many of you still want to see this fight? Even if juanma gets his ass beat again by salido, he has options.. If he doesnt move to 130, he can get a crack at caba's title.. I know caba will accept the fight in a heartbeat.

    Who wins?

Litzau was faster, was able to counter and rock Caballero, IMO Juanma beats Caballero just as easily as he beat De Leon, Celestino hasn't really done anything to improve from a technical standpoint

If JuanMa beats Salido in their rematch, this is as good a fight as any for JuanMa given that he clearly isn't getting in the ring with Gamboa.

I would have been shocked if you had said anything else, ElTerrible. However, as to the question posed by Finito, is this a fight you still would want to see?

Juanma is one of my least liked local fighters, it's just the truth, Caballero is technically flawed big time and his biggest win is against a fighter who hasn't gone on to do jack shit since his loss, IMO Caballero is just too slow and too open for counters against the likes of Lopez, Gamboa, and most the top guys at 126 and 130, and there are better fights to be made, Juanma/Salido II, Juanma/Nishioka, Juanma/Broner, etc.

JuanMa/Chris John too. The only difference between Caballero and the rest of those are that Caballero and JuanMa have a history of smack-talking. However, I am all for any of those and assuming JuanMa gets by Salido, let's hope at least one of them happens.

after seeing Salido's last fight I don't think it's that much of a longshot

How definite is that? It's definitely lost a lot of its luster but if JuanMa beat Salido, it would still be the fight I'd want most at 126. And the biggest money draw. It's a shame if it doesn't happen IMO.

It won't happen for a while if JuanMa can fight other opponents for comparable money. It's too big of a risk for JuanMa now. He's only lost once and there are unification fights that are good money that should be easier on paper.
