    Default Pirog v. Ishida Tomorrow

They made weight today. Pirog's mandatory defense before he allegedly faces Geale in August/September. Think he stops Ishida?

I think Ishida stops Pirog, this applecart is there for the upset. Question is, how will I watch this at work?

Bold prediction -- I like it (though I don't see it happening).

I don't see it going twelve.

What time does the card start?

2 pm EDT, I think that may be the main event time. It's only on Russian TV so a stream is mandatory.

Good fight! Hard to say, I got burned on Ishida vs Williams though he didn't fight a terrible go, stunned Williams and showed he could box. Its a shame Pirog went up on the milk carton after pulverizing Danny Jacobs but I'm tempted to say Ishida can cope with his power. Coin flip....I'm on a bad run of picks so hell I'll pick Ishida part deaux.

I really like Pirog and im glad Ishida is making some money. That aside I dont think Ishida has the tools to succeed. Pirog is a subtle pressure fighter with maddening upper body movement.

I feel bad for anyon that has to go up against that. Not because its impossible to beat but very...painfully hard to overcome.

No wonder I've never seen either of these guys fight. They're fighting on a Tuesday.

    Ugh.

Not sure I'll be able to watch it at work, but anyone have the stream for this bad boy?

Pirog wins by UD. From what I gather, I was on a RBR, Pirog looked good, but not great, and Ishida has a helluva beard.

Would love to catch a replay of this. Final tally was 120-108, 119-109, and 118-111. Hopefully Pirog gets more mainstream exposure specially in the US as I really think he's got great talent. I can still vividly recall how he smashed Jacobs a couple or so years ago. Here's hoping he gets matched with JC jr with the winner taking on Martinez.

What did you think about Pirog vs. Maciel?

Oh and I was wrong again on my prediction

Pirog didn't shine in the Maciel fight. He looked better in his next fight with the Russian Armenian.

I honestly think if Pirog were to fight Jacobs again, he would lose. He can be exciting when he gets going, but he can also get stuck in 1st gear sometimes.
