    Default Khan and Roach

I see Khan is now saying he's "re-assessing" his relationship with Freddie Roach. Seems to be a very thinly veiled way of blaming Roach (at least partially) for his recent losses, which strikes me as pretty spurious. He reckons he's playing second fiddle to Manny Pacquiao but surely that's only relevant if they're fighting within a short space of time of each other. I seriously doubt Roach was spending much time with Pacquiao while Khan was building up to his fight with Garcia. And apart from that he doesn't seem to listen to Roach anyway. And who will he go to next? No world class trainer is likely to drop whoever they're training just to focus exclusively on Khan, so wherever he goes he'll be playing second fiddle to someone.

Seems like yet another arrogant and deluded diatribe by someone who just refuses to accept that they're not as good as they think they are.

Roach also left to train Chavez. In the build up to the fight, so mybe he is thinking he is 3rd choice now, and wants someone to give him there full attention. I'm a big roach fan. And think khan does not listen enough to him. Might be because he is not always around. I did think khan would go on to big things at one stage, but not sure now.

Khan did say he was being too nice by going to different countries to accommodate Roach and may change trainers.

Roach might lose Khan but he might gain Victor Ortiz who departed with Danny Garcia recently

I see no reason to believe that Khan would do any better with another trainer besides Roach.

I think Khan flashes back fondly to a day when only a trainer may have held the answers and solution to him bouncing off the canvas.
