Default Ricky burns the most underrated fighter in Britain...

A 2 weight world champion, I remember when he beat the undefeated puerto rican Roman martinez i thought it was one of the most complete and professional display's i'd seen in quite a while from a British fighter, His win over Michael katsidis was impressive too. Ricky is favourite to beat the talented kevin mitchell in his next fight also...

I feel burn's is a bit overlooked. Froch and burn's are my two favourite british fighters at the minute.

    Any fan's on here?

Martinez was overrated. Katsidis was shot. And he lost to Alex Arthur. Burns is overrated

He also lost to Carl Johanneson but has got better and better. I like Mitchell but he may well struggle with Burns. If Burns is victorious he should fight the Abril - Rees winner for the WBA belt. He could beat Demarco. Vasquez, Broner and Rios and some people would still think he is over rated.

He will be if he beats Mitchell in my book.

If your going to put coward and Broner in a sentence you don't need to add Burns.

Martinez is a very good fighter and katsidis is always a tough test for anyone! Burns was pretty green when he fought arthur and besides he stopped gomez and cook who both defeated arthur! Burns beats arthur now! He's also favourite to beat mitchell who has a win over breidis prescott.

So he has a couple of losses so what! He's getting better with every fight. And calling him a coward is just stupid! No boxer is a coward! He was struggling with the weight hence his move to LW.

    Burns is very good.

Unlike Broner who couldn't even be bothered to make weight just like Rios another can't be asked idiot. Ricky is a model pro without all the vacuous empty headed gestures of punks like Broner and Rios. Mitchell on his day could be a real handful so possible FOTY candidate here in the UK, can't wait.

What more can Burn's do, other than win and that's what he's done , support Burn's he's a winner
I feel sometimes winning, is a dirty word.

I feel burn's is a bit overlooked. Froch and burn's are my two favourite british fighters at the minute.

    Any fan's on here?
I like him as he's a throwback who has gotten where he is by hard work and dedication. He seems to improve each time out but there was a reason why he left 130 rather then fight Broner.

Overlooked I suppose so. The Moses fight really showed improvement and lets face it Ricky cant crack a yolk so boxing has to be a large part of the plan at the elite level.

    Cant see him beating Kev.

You cant see him beating Kev the man twatted by Katsidis , who Burns defeated ?

Mitchell lost the plot in that fight having a giant brain fart. He was in control of Kats and could have won that quite easily if he stuck to the game plan. Ftr I don't do the because A lost to B and B lost to C then C beats A. In boxing that's pretzel logic.

In the end I just think Mitchell is the better boxer and really has no game changing punch to fear. I like both guys and Mitchell if he loses focus could be beaten. I think Mitchell is going to be extremely motivated and sharp just because of that loss you speak of. Could be a Foty candidate.
