Default Everyone choose a P4P the Rick Moranis way.

Ok, here it is, Rick Moranis has barged his way in and shrunk or enlarged every active pro boxer (not sure of the finer details of how) to Welterweight 147. Who would be victorious, crowned the Moranis True P4P Champion. Be interesting to see everyone's top three.

    1. Floyd Mayweather
    2. Andre Ward
    3. Guilermo Rigondeaux

Would much prefer to see wlad klitschko at 2nd place. Fact is he has all the belts

Not really interested in all that, because really, where have all the belts come from? Who did he beat to win them? I'm just speaking purely hypothetically and not based on belts or wins etc. Purely as the fighter.

For the record Wlad beat the below for the titles. Would any of them get in to a top 50 P4P?? Haye would for me, but you certainly couldn;t use the below as a measure for him being P4P. I'd say more like if Wlad and Vitali were shrunk to the same size as their opponents at 147, their robotic arses get SMOKED.

    IBF - Chris Byrd
    VACANT IBO - Chris Byrd
    WBO - Sultan Ibragimov
    WBA - David Haye

    I wouldn't trust this guy's opinion.

I'd much prefer it if we could reference the below Rick Moranis. I think it'd be a better result.

I think Floyd would be first Sergio second and Ward third. I would love to see Sergio hurt Floyd as he has the power, Ward would have to outbox him and i doubt he would do that to Floyd.

I agree but I think Ward is quicker than you seem to think. Cotto was getting to Floyd and I think Ward moves as well or better with faster hands than Cotto. I'd like to see that fight, which will never happen, of course.

Random question as I'm making pecan chicken and bored out of my skull

Does a fighter 'retain' the chin they had at a higher weight? Obviously power would suffer as there is less but in a Spaceballs like world the shots of a 140 guy bounce off the chin of a former cruiser, heavy type Seldon, Hide comebacks on deck, heffers!

Really in a unicorn world though, I can easily see Ward giving Mayweather probs and taking a W. More than physical, just as ass clown cocky and knows slippery and gritty rough infighting, fast hands. Hey, one of em losses, win win fans

The answer is yes they retain their chin durability and although Ward could make it messy and dirty I think Floyd would be able to handle it. Sergio’s power however would frighten Floyd and command his respect.

Wlad should be on the list, a heavyweight with 13 consecutive successful title defenses should be up there....but since Mr. "Who did he beat in the p4p top 50" wants to run things I guess I'll answer with everyone else

    1. Floyd
    2. Ward
    3. Martinez
    4. Rigondieux

It just doesn't work though. You can't shrink people and expect them to have the same abilities.

You shrink Wlad, he doesn't keep the speed of a heavyweight, he would probably have the speed of Mayweather. He wouldn't be as rigid as he is when trying to manoeuvre a body that weighed half as much. Not that he's a slouch, I still remember despite Haye's toe, Wlad looking very quick still in that fight. The guy can move quick if he wants to.

If you monstered up all the other fighters to heavyweight, who would be in your p4p list then? Could a fat Floyd take a big one from even Chisora?

I know it's pretend, but my brain can never really work it out when I really try to think about it.

What is there to think about, this is how p4p works in my head anyway. Wlad has speed as a heavyweight it will carry at welterweight, he will be fast but not as fast as Floyd.

People are forgetting about Gamboa due to his inactivity.

He dominated Ponce De Leon (who beat Broner) and Orlando Salido (who twice KO'd JuanMa).

I wouldn't put Gamboa at #1 due to his lack of a gameplan, focus and tendency to suffer flash knockdowns, but he would be a handful for anyone.

He's arguably the most naturally talented fighter in the world.

He is, but why is he not fighting again?

I believe he's pissed off at his promoter and is having contract issues trying to switch promotion companies.

It may be that Gamboa, like Oldanier Solis has had a taste of the good life and lost some of his dedication as well.

Hope not as Gamboa is awesomely talented and I would like to see him back in the ring very soon. Long overdue.
