Damn. My hangover is much like what I expected it to be. I was drunk by the time kick off came around. Going to watch it again today to see how it all came in.
I don't see what is super about a bowl. Men in helmets taking part in the most tedious of all sports (golf included) and the highlight being 3rd rate performers coming on during the break and it being so bland that people applaud the advertisements. American sports are just awful. Basketball, American football, baseball. Those 3 are the most depressing sports of all time. I hate golf, but I would sooner watch that than any of those other ones. There is just something about them that just seems aesthetically unappealing.
The Cory Spinks fight was the most significant event last weekend and it had Teddy Atlas. Fuck Beyonce and many a man would/has, but give me Teddy Atlas any day of the week.
Titofan are you near/in Bayamon?
For every story told that divides us, I believe there are a thousand untold that unite us.
This is a Profound Bowl thread and I am the boring one? I certainly don't recall dominating this thread, so you must be reading other things. Those with nothing to say at all are the boring ones and those that follow sports like US football or baseball are even more dull. Every American sport is a poor imitation of a British one. American football is a homosexual rugby. Baseball is rounders without mullets. And basketball is just...well, that is your own....it is daft. The difference is that those sports do not conquer Britain. America has never invented a decent sport. I detest my nation, but it has produced sports worth watching. What could be worse than to be a detestable nation and have no worthwhile sports? I know which I prefer.
You can think I am boring all you want, but I quite like that because in these posts I am not trying to be flashy. I think they are funny, but if a silly man wants to be upset that I think his sport is daft then so be it. I have no objection to being classed as boring which is somewhat akin to the Enlightened Copulating Vessel.

Losing respect as the 49er players and fans are crying over a good no-call especially considering the fact that Crabtree was pushing off. #29 for the 9ers held Boldin throughout the whole game so stop whining. Btw, is it me or is Ed Reed pure class. I noticed how after the game while all the other Ravens were celebrating he was consoling and greeting various 49er players congratulating them on their season. With his injury problems 5he past few years I wouldn't be suprised if he decides to hang 'em up as well.
Sounded like a good game. The lights went off which happened on Saturday when Fulham played Man Utd. It happened a couple of years ago and it was discovered to be a betting syndicate in the south east Asia who were setting it up.
Do not let success go to your head and do not let failure get to your heart.
