Dawson vs. Stevenson Being Discussed For June 8th - Boxing News

2 168lbers back to back but this time, Chad is smart enough to make this one at 175. Lesson learned I think. Good fight, but Chad needs to get back in the ring as his career is stalling.

I don't think Chad will ever be the same again after shedding that muscle so late in the game. A case of Roy Jones syndrome. Adonis is a mad man and will have no issues moving up. I don't see this ending well for Dawson should it be signed.

Firstly, how the funk does Dawson keep getting on HBO? Secondly he didn't put on a lot of weiht then lose it so it's not an exact RJJ situation. Stevenson has a lot of power but unless Dawson walks into one I think he wins an oustandingly boring decision. It's almost guaranteed whatever the undercard is will be better than the main event. Hopefully I'm completely wrong and Dawson gets flattened and I never have to see him fight again.

Adonis must have thought that this made sense given that it appeared who knows when he would get the fight with Froch-Kessler winner, and Bute is facing Pascal. If Adonis wins, he has a good claim for a fight with the winner of Bute-Pascal for Canadian supremacy.

Dawson was literally owned and slapped down into submission last fight. He has zero clue being back in main event let alone a trinket bout at lt hvy if he hopes to extend-prolong career. Over exposed and over run on a public scale. Adonis should win this night and I think he gets the tko.

I hope Chad comes good, he is not exciting but he was the best light heavy before his beat down by Ward at super middle. If he can overcome that trauma he can get back to being the top fighter again. He would be in a good position to take on Pascal/Bute and Froch/Kessler or dare I say it Ward at light heavy.
