Can someone please refresh my memory. In the last year (or so), a well knwon fighter claimed after the fight that he was pissed the referee stopped the fight too early when what happened was that he didn't beat the referee's 10 count?

Anyone remember which moron that was?

That's one of the things I don't keep track of. It's usually more of a face saving thing than than a real protest.
It doesn't matter if he's on his feet anyway, the referee can stop the fight if he doesn't look ready to go.

The only guy I remember doing that was Marlon Starling.

First one that comes to mind is Tyron trice standing ring center after destroying Carl Sullivan and saying Gerald McClellan didn't have any heart...then he talked shit about Toney who promply came out of the crowd, climbed into the ring and almost made Trice shit himself and quickly stfu

How about Anthony Mundine saying that America was "asking for it" after the 9/11 attacks. Not funny, but definitely unfortunate.

Remember McNealy saying he would wrap Tyson up in a hurricane or cacoon of whatever and got battered for his troubles.

I'll never forget the way McNeeley charged at Tyson. I remember admiring him for it, but having a feeling that it wasn't likely to end well for him.

It was funny after tyson dropped him and he did a backwards sprint around the ring and the ref was chasing him to give him his mandatory 8 count

Tony Galento saying he had never heard of Joe Louis and saying he would Murder him.

Didn't end well.
