There might be some network issues but both guys want to fight.. Can Bernard pull the same stunts like Stevenson??
IF this fight happens, I think this is where the circus act ends for Hopkins..

stevenson may kill hopkins.
The Wbc hates the thought of unification unless you are somehow in their favour. Jose would have nightmares at the thoughts of Bernard holding their belt. I'd be surprised if they agreed to sanction this. Jose would give the winner about 2 weeks to decide on which belt he keeps.
Besides, I dont see Hopkins going near Stevenson or Kovalev. What was clear as day last night was that his reflexes are gone. Murat landed more shots on him then his last 3 fights combined. His chin wont save him against either guy.
I think Stevenson is a bridge too far for a 49 year old Hop. Stevenson isn't as limited as Murat and will be more physically imposing than Murat was, and is more mobile n a better boxer as well. Hop will make it ugly n close but Stevenson is too active n strong.
Kovalev might be too one dimensional, n if I had to choose (if I was advising Hop) I would rather Hop fight Kovalev. Hop struggles with clever guys who can use speed n athleticism to force the pace against him.
Hop should be fighting at 168 but Ward is just too good n too dominant at that weight. I would love to see Ward fight Stevenson n Kovalev. Both would be great fights.
I think Hopkins can do this, I think he can win this fight. Slow it down, land the right hand, hold and make it messy.
Do not let success go to your head and do not let failure get to your heart.
Hopkins is too fast for Stevenson who doesn't really have a strong overwhelming work-rate to take advantage of his youth and power, IMO it'd be a slightly more competitive version of B-Hop's fight with Cloud
This fight will be a hard sell with Stevenson coming off a KO loss to Bellew.
3-Time SADDO PREDICTION COMP CHAMPION.
Stevenson is on some Clubber Lang shit.
As much as I would find it hard to give anyone props for beating such an ancient version of Hopkins, I would be very interested to see what Stephenson could do with him... Southpaw power (to me) always seems more perplexing, more sensational, more devastating. I think his overall speed and power alone would be a threat for anyone but with Hopkins it always has to be so much more. Stephenson doesn't really feint a lot but is happy to set up punches by himself AND can do it going backwards which poses a fairly niggly situation for Hopkins. I think Hopkins would have a far better chance against Kovalev as Kovalev is (effective but) straight forward (maybe bit too honest) in his approach. As long as he (Hopkins) is held upright, He'd find ways to work around an honest fighter all day long.
