Default Will Crotch give St.Groves a rematch or will he run with it ?

Once Groves watches the tape, he's going to regret making some crucial mistakes and will realize how easily he could have won the fight by boxing..

Will Froch give him a rematch or will he come up with some bullshit? BTW, Christmas came early for crotch

He didn't need to box. where he was successful was in trading right hands because froch brings his left leg forward and squares up when he throws his right; this makes him easy to hit with right hands. initiating those exchanges works well. When he hurt him he needed to go to the body; I don't recall groves throwing one meaningful body punch.
I suspect froch will take whatever fight will bring him the most money. nothing about the guy strikes me as soft or fearful, so I think he will take the route that pays him the most.

Groves did the right thing by taking chances when needed to but he made a crucial error when he decided to get brave later in the rounds.. It was his inexperience that made him do that..

IM not saying he should have boxed throughout the entire fight. He just needed to mix it up and stay composed..

He definitely would take a different approach in a rematch.

Paddy, Groves trainer said it right.

Groves would stop him inside 4 in a rematch and Froch should talk with his family, long and hard to decide if he want to take that many shots again.

George Groves showed that he is clearly a class above Froch, he needs to learn to hold and spoil and not engage when hurt, but that's experience that he will learn.

i doubt it. froch doesnt have too much longer left and he doesnt need it. i think he knows that a rematch will only hurt him.

I have no idea why you are disrespecting a good value fighter like Froch by calling him CROTCH ?

    Sour grapes.

Froch got caught cold and with every round Groves power was dwindling. In a rematch, it may be different and for both their sakes, I hope it happens.

I have no idea what will happen next time same as I had no idea what should of happened this time but I don't buy in to this nonsense that Froch should fear for his health. He came in looking dry and paid a price.

Look at how warm Floyd was in his fight with Canelo, he was eager not to get caught cold. That was experience making a difference. I know Froch has some strange habits and rituals but he needs to have a good and proper warm up next time he faces someone as sharp as Groves.

Groves is a body good fighter!!

    The rematch will happen.

Probably in March or April next year.

It will happen but as I said in another post if I had Froch's ear I'd tell him not to fight Groves. Groves is too sharp, to accurate, to fast for him and Frochs tactic of "I'm just gonna soak up as much punishment as you can give me, then get you late on" won't work because the engine is not there anymore. Too many miles on the clock

There needs to be a good ref next time.

Fly over Steve Smoger, not some UK ref like Howard Taylor, who just panics and stops the fight at the first sign that a fighter is hurt. I have never seen a ref stop a fight by getting the guy who he is meant to be saving from further punishment in a headlock. Totally amateur. I get the feeling with UK refs like Howard Taylor that they want to abuse their power or that they are frustrated fighters themselves and their ego means that they want a piece of the action, they want to get involved, they want their name in the papers.

Look - 20 thousand people can't be wrong. Studio analysts Amir Khan, David Haye and Glen McCrory can't be wrong, when everyone all says that the fight should not have been stopped that says something in itself

We all just want to see a CLEAR WINNER . We did not see that yesterday

But the fight will happen and the funny thing is it will be Groves who will most likely come into the arena to cheers this time and Froch to boos but to be fair to Froch it's not his fault. The fault lies with Howard (The Joke Of A Ref) Taylor

Hearns is saying groves can fight another world champion and Froch can have an easier fight against someone else.
Do not let success go to your head and do not let failure get to your heart.

Froch was given a gift last night but the last thing that the guy is is a coward, his resume speaks for itself, you don't fight Pascal, Taylor, Dirrell, Kessler, Abraham, Ward, Bute, and now Groves if you're a coward, he's not the first guy to get a bullshit gift similar to Kirkland's "win" over Molina, Cintron's "draw" against Martinez, and so forth, the blame falls on the ref nobody else, Froch was a prick afterwards as always so don't see whats new

Exactly. I was argueing with a guy prior to the fight how Froch fights like a bar fighter. Coming square is the first thing they drive out of you in the gym and if it wasnt for Frochs chin he wouldnt have made it far at all.

well that leaves Stieglitz or Bika, it's looking like a trip to Germany will be the most likley for groves, if the rematch isnt going to happen who will carl fight now?? .. Paul smith.. James de Gale , Bute , Kessler, ward isn't easy but a retirement fund payday
