What's the deal with ovaltine? The box is round, the glass is round. They should call it roundtine.

Finito is losing it, this is a good move from B hop. This will force Stevenson and Kovalev to fight one another to have the honour of facing Hopkins.

Great fight for Hop. He looks phenomenal against straight ahead, strong punchers, n struggles with fast, mobile, volume fighters. I think he schools this guy n then hopefully Kovalev. I don't think he matches up well with Stevenson, but would live to see him beat the other two and unify all the titles (I think Kovalev has a good chance of upsetting Stevenson). If Hop accomplishes that I think he is easily in the discussion for greatest fighter of his generation (based on actual accomplishments, not talent vs Floyd, PAC...etc). Hops style isn't as exciting as it used to be, but at 49 years old the guy is amazing.

Hopkins will old man him, holding hitting acting and a win a decision the rose-tinted brigade,
tell how wonderful Hopkins is. When in truth it will be a shit fight LIKE ALL HIS FIGHTS ARE,
many of you will rant and rave, please will someone KO him.

I feel the same way about Hopkins chances against Kovalev and Stevenson.

I think Kovalev is just a better fighter than Stevenson and no worse equipped to fight Hopkins. Stevenson isn't exactly a Calzaghe, he's pretty much a one handed fighter and Hopkins has always had a lot of success against southpaws.

Hopkins would never fight Kovalev. He would do many other things before retiring. But fighting Kovalev would NOT be one of them.

I disagree. I think Kovalev is exactly who Hop would want to fight. I think Ward n maybe Stevenson r two guys he would rather avoid due to their movement n Hops deteriorating reflexes n stamina. Kovalev is a HUGE puncher who walks u down with slow, steady pressure n catches I with the big shot. Hop has a ton of ring generalship, phenomenal defense, equally phenomenal chin, n above average hand speed. He will school Kivalev, who will be looking for the knockout shot only to find himself exhausted n holding on trying to survive to the end. Also, while Hops fights vs slick, fast boxers r boring n hard to watch, his fights vs aggressive power punchers like Tito, Joe Lipsey, Pascal, Pavilik, and Cloud r entertaining. Hop makes the cute guys fight ugly n he fights the knockout artists like a cutie. Hop is a true throwback n ATG fighter.
