Never really rated Soto. He was ok but never a top P4P fighter which I think Garcia is. What are you taking as Sotos natural weight? He did well at lightweight but I would have though feather or super feather was his most natural. I would think Garcia would out point him easily

Soto was at his best at 126 but was just as good at 130.. he was out of his comfort zone at 135 but was able to win off his natural talents.

Even when he was heavily outsized, outgunned and past his prime, he got the best of Lucas Mythese prior to the stoppage.. nobody besides danny garcia was able to put in that much work on lucas..

Soto was never a household name but the hard cores gave him a lot of respect back in the mid 2000ish..I remember how he was being compared to Eric Morales and at one point around 06-07, he was being pushed as the Mexican to take down Pacquaio..

i have seen soto fight quite a bit. he was one of those fighters where i thought that he could have made more of a name for himself if he would have fought bigger names. he just never fought any big names really. he was a good fighter though but garcia is special. garcia would win a pretty clear decision.
