Thread: Floyd bet 10.4 MILLION on the Broncos??

A bunch of sites are reporting Floyd put 10.4 MILLION FUCKING DOLLARS on the Broncos to win the superbowl.

At the time of this posting its the 3rd quarter, the Seahawks are dominating 29-0 and it looks like Floyd is gonna be out some cash.

Stupid asshole. He's going to end up going the Mike Tyson route.

yeah it was on the radio on thursday or friday that he had bet a huge amount on teh superbowl.. I just assumed it was a publicity stunt, I dont think he actually has...just a gimmick to enhance his money persona

I dont even know who is playing in the Superbowl but fuck it..

I've seen him post INSANE betting stubs on his Twitter, obviously nothing this outrageous but the guy legit has a gambling problem.

Well you have to figure out of 40 mil, 50% of that is coming out in taxes right off the bat. Then you have all the usual expenses and then all the bullshit luxury stuff he's buying... 10 mil is going to sting even for Floyd.

I hope it's true, only he downplayed it and actually bet more.

Not sure how this story keeps running, Floyd refuted himself a week ago with his usual addendum "how many times do I have to tell you if it doesn't come from me, Ellerbe or Al it's a lie"

Everyone would know if it was true because it's illegal to take bets of that sum in Vegas. That's why the original lie had him "placing bets all over town"

I get that people run with the story they like but eventually when it's refuted that should be posted as well. You can see the quotes from Floyd himself on fighthype

Mayweather posted on instagram that he didn't bet on any team. He's quote was " somebody lied to you all. If I would have bet I would have bet on the Seattle Seahawks. I'm the best defensive fighter its only right to go with the best defensive team. " I can't figure out how to put the picture of it on my phone but I will when I get to my laptop.

Look, I'm not happy that Floyd lost a pile of money, but I'm not going to lose sleep over it either.
Floyd is a boxing whiz, but doesn't seem to know that much about football. Not enough to bet 10 million anyway.
