This is not a World Title fight, this is a British Title fight at best. I can't quite believe the IBF have sanctioned it as a World Title fight but it is what it is and maybe Stuey deserves a gimme. It just annoys me when promoters go on about their fighter proving themselves at World level when in truth they're just fighting domestic level fights for more money.

For those that aren't aware, Martin Ward is the Commonwealth Champion. He was stopped in 5 by Lee Haskins just last year. There are at least 3 British fighters better at the weightclass, let alone the rest of the world.

To be fair when you get down to those daft weights the talent spread is going to be thin. Its an optional defence so the IBF kinda have to sanction it or their ratings are bullshit.

Fans that believe these shitty belts have any importance - besides being a barganing chip - have to recognise all their champions and challengers. Hall's IBF title makes him just as much a "world" champ as Wlad's and Froch's etc.

Lee Haskins also beat Hall.

This is the same title that was taken off Jamie McDonnel because he changed promoters.
