Default Mayweather v Maidana with Khan v Broner on the undercard...?

Hearing this is what's gonna happen

A few sites and articles are saying this mainly due to the disgust in the USA at Khan winning the "official" pole and Maidana winning about 4 others by a huge margin.

Also the Cinco de Mayo (Mexican bank holiday) is said to play a major role as it happens over the fight weekend and would do better PPV sales.

Any of you Yank members shed any light on these growing rumours?

If that happens I'll be more looking forward to the khan vs broner fight that's actually a fight I would pay to see then if khan wins floyd will fight him in September.

    Ugly if this is true.

Maidana will struggle to land a single blow.

Where have you read this smash? Apart from Bunce saying Broner-Khan on the undercard I can't find it mentioned

I'd prefer Broner-Khan over any fight involving Floyd.

this would be a decent card. mayweather would destroy maidana but who wouldnt he destroy? khan vs broner would be very interesting.

Broner/Khan is a very interesting bout. It makes perfect sense to me. Both draw attention to the card and it keeps both away from the other good young talent at GBP. Both are very talented but each has something to prove.

Roger Mayweather says Maidana is next for Floyd, is what Google says. lol
You never know with Floyd or his people, they rarely tell the truth. After dealing with the press/media for years you can't blame them.
It's all rumors with Floyd until it's not.
I don't know why he wants Maidana, unless he's going to follow Broner around cleaning up after him.
Hey, everybody! If you want a fight with Floyd just kick Broner's ass.
I guess it's just another easy money fight for Floyd, it's makes as much sense as the rest.

Does make sense and there's a few articles at vital boxing suggesting this might be whats happening. @Fenster

And i read some similar on a few different sites last week, stuff that mentioned the importance of the Mexican Bank holiday so maybe Mayweather will go with a Latino fighter

Of course it could all be a load of bollocks but they also hint that the winner of Khan v Broner could face Floyd in September.

Just seems more and more stories along these lines are starting to pop up and if Khan won that vote fair and square on the official vote site why is Floyd stalling things?

Surely if he was serious about fighting the winner (Khan) he'd have already said "Ok you won lets do it" as soon as that voting pole finished..!!

They've just copied what Buncey said yesterday, I thought there might be something more kosher on it.

If Floyd gives Khan the elbow I hope it's right.

You never know with Floyd, maybe he wanted Maidana all along and the poll went against what he thought would be an obvious no brainerchoice.

Floys should stretch himself and fight a light middle because he beats any welterweight. Khan v Broner v Maidana v Thurman are good fights.
