Dulorme should have tried to knock Mayfield right the fuck out, where in the contract does it say he has to stand for that kind of shit. Not to mention incidents like Bowe-Donald, those are flat out vicious assaults that would put any other kind of athlete on the sidelines for weeks.

Yes it is kind of funny and fucked up the attitude is "they're fighting anyway so let's just let em assault each other".

Sidenote on Mayfield, he's a bit of a scary guy. I met him in a formal setting than later in an informal setting and it's 2 different guys. Carried himself well both times but "fake ass goons" isn't really the way to describe Mayfield or more specifically the guys he hangs out with. Mayfield has a screw loose but he's very smart, got into boxing late but you're right on in the fact that he is mentally strong and may never let off of Dulorme which is what interests me about the fight. Mayfeld has been outskilled and outclassed before but never let that stop him from winning a fight just with persistence. This pertains mostly to the beginning of his career and even the SF Golden Gloves when he was the most crude guy in the tournament. I always pick against Mayfield and I'm always wrong, but I really do think Dulorme will be able to sharpshoot him tomorrow.

Another sidenote about Mayfield, he's just an interesting guy. I had a pair of Steve Madden dress shoes when I met him. I don't know shit about fashion but he's a clothing designer in his off time (he makes boxing trunks for a lot of guys too), and they were just a pair I got for $45 from Burlington. I had a crushed velvet blazer on from Calvin Klein that was on sale at Macy's but looked nice. He immediately called me out for wearing Steve Madden shoes and a Calvin Klein jacket with a pair of Old Navy jeans. It was almost unsettling how quickly he was able to recognize this and I was just in amazement. It was pretty unreal, not to mention the fact that he seemed genuinely perturbed by this.

I don't see how that makes him terribly interesting myself. I hope he gets KO'ed for name dropping your clothes, what a boring cunt

    Mayfield is not Carlos Abregu..
But he hits just as hard as him. I ain't all that big on Mayfield but Dulorme is one of the most overrated prospects of the last couple of years. He crashed and burned the first time he stepped up. He'll crash and burn again
Are you not big on Dulorme because he's not a good fighter or is it because he's a Rican.. Be real with me homey..

Even though he disappointed me against Abregu, I still think he's in a different class than guys like Mayfield, and his style is a joy to watch..

Mayfield may punch as hard as Abregu but he doesn't have the experience and the size that he had..

We'll see.. and here's the video of the altercation.. Mayfield acting typical here, giving the brothas a bad rep again.. Bunch of fake ass goons following his coatails and shit, cod dam Im tired of these fake ass hollywood niggas..

Come on now. Dulorme is a French island boy with Dominican parents. He's not Puerto Rican Him claiming it ain't got shit to do with it. They can have him. I just don't think he's that good. His best win to date is his points win over the 98 year old DeMarcus Corley. Who went into there fight having gone 1-6 in his last 7 fights. What that tell you?
It just told me that he's good enough to beat skill challenged bums like mayfield.

I never thought much of Mayfield. Cuz he ain't that good. Dulorme still had to hug him and clinch him to win

It turned out to be a lackluster and boring match, but Dulorme won fair and square.

Total lack of a game plan for Mayfield.
"You knocked him down...now how bout you try knockin me down ?"
