Would Roberto Duran have won last night vs Floyd?
I immediately thought of Duran as Maidana was giving Floyd trouble throughout the fight.
Duran had once stated that if he fought Mayweather, he would rush him constantly to take him out of his rhythm and force him into a phone booth.
How effective would Duran have been last night? He'd obviously be more accurate with his inside punches than Maidana. We're talking about one of the best "in-fighters" of all time (a topic for another day)

Different styles, man. Duran was a better boxer but he wasn't as unorthodox and he didn't have the "bull rush" style that Maidana does.
Duran ain't beating Mayweather.

for one, i rank duran higher all time. he is a legit top 10 p4p ever for me. also, he has the perfect style to beat floyd. he hits extremely hard, he uses his jab to set up his shots, and he cuts off the ring extremely well. i think that duran beats floyd at any weight.
