he is making a comeback and getting a "title" shot. listen to this. here is why juarez has been inactive for 2 years:

"The thing is my promoters didn’t offer me a meaningful fight, yes they did offer me a few fights but they weren’t worth it, so I took my time and now fighting Alvarado for the silver belt it opens the door for an opportunity to get a title shot.”

does he really think he is that good? he just kept losing at the end of his career and thinks that he is too good for a non title fight even though he has been given way too many opportunities? i have hated juarez from the beginning. he was a pampered fighter who was given gift decisions and refs who would help him out. he was so extremely pampered, yet he still couldnt win a title. i remember a fight with him against antonio diaz in which he was getting beat every round. and the commentators were going on about how juarez was winning the fight. well, juarez luckily KO'd diaz in the last round but the official scorecards all had him up somehow even though i dont even think i gave him a round.

i remember also when he fought jason litzau and got beat. his post fight interview he looked really depressed and said that he doesnt know how he lost because he was obviously in a higher league than litzau. juarez is ridiculous. he thinks that he is so good but he was never good. he never impressed me. the only fight i was ever impressed in was his first fight with barrera which he won a few rounds in. i was surprised.

i have a few more fights i remember him in and hating him for it, but just so you know, i hate juarez. he was never good and should have never even earned a title shot, let alone five. and now he thinks that he is too good to not get one. he started 23-0 in his first 23 fights and ended 6-10-1 in his last 17. yes, juarez, you definitely deserve a title shot.

He is like Zab Judah, why do these fighters get a shot so often?

I agree but zab had a lot more potential at least. Juarez was not good and never would have been good.
