At which weight class? I liked bradley better at 140 than 147. At 154, theyre just cashing bradley out.
They want your @$$ beat because upsets make news. News brings about excitement, excitement brings about ratings. The objective is to bring you up to the tower and tear your @$$ down. And if you don't believe that, you're crazy.

Bradley has mentioned 154 and its really not that far out of reach

1-There is no lineal title to forfeit. Its a paper trail and a dubious one ay best. Its an optional anyway.
2-Tim used to fight at 154 and before becoming a vegan walked around at 170.
3-According to Andre Ward his fight with Bradley was his toughest fight as an amateur.
4-Cotto weighed in at 155 for Martinez so in theory they could do a catch of 155 for the mid title and that's a joke but also a reality in this catch weight era. Tim could come in under which he would.
5-They could also do it at 154 which is what Bradley is asking for and have no title on the line.

Politics aside imo this is one hell of a boxing match.

I think its a close to even fight at this stage but I just hope the middle weight title is not on the line. That's all we need should Bradley win. And the new lineal Middleweight champion of the world lol.

Cotto has no delusions of hanging around 160. He's rich and has made PR history. If he wants to get a last cheque so be it and then retire.

I dunno man. Arum has to do better by Cotto with the career peak he has just reached. All I smell is another bs catchweight stunt and its promoting a guy upward who's stamina looked terrible last out and will only get worse packing on another 10lbs or muscle, can't break Legos with a mean right and struggles to fill seats in his own neighborhood. I like Tim but with respects to Bradley its a bit of a step sideways with momentum.

Doesn't Bradley have problems with his ankles or ankle. He's probably better off at 140 anyway. Piss on a Cotto fight.

cotto should be fighting either canelo or a middleweight. a bradley fight is not what he needs at this point of his career.

    Needs to be at MW.

I think Cotto looks fitter at MW.

Bradley will struggle vs Cotto more at MW than he would at 147.

No way. If Bradley moves to 154 for this fight it'll be a joke. Cotto is way to big and skilled for Bradley at that weight. Bradley has a lot of options with the current fighters at 147 and the ones coming up from 140. He'd be a fool to move up and fight Cotto.

I said right from the get-go that Cotto wouldn't be fighting any other middleweights. He saw a great fighter that has been plagued by injuries and was at the very end of his rope, and he capitalized.

People who are suggesting MW fights for him must be dreaming. He has no intent on staying at MW, because that would mean he has to fight GGG, and he doesn't want to do that.

More likely looking for that Canelo showdown if he can get by Lara (which is a BIG if)

There is no way Cotto will want to fight Bradley. I heard the ppv numbers for the Martinez fight was low and this would be even lower. This is Arum trying to keep Bradley relevant. Cotto has bigger fish to fry.

I'm surprised they never booked the Mayweather rematch yet.

A few days ago Mayweather said his next opponent for September will either be Cotto or Khan. Khan is a no go for Sept because of ramadan so that leaves Cotto.

It's a perfect match up for both guys: Floyd can grab a belt in another weight division, and not just a trinket, THE middleweight belt. And against a guy he already beat two years ago. And with Mayweather looking dare I say old vs Maidana, he might be ripe for the picking for Miguel, who could go down in the history as the guy who finally dethroned Mayweather.

If a.Cotto Mayweather rematch ain't in the works then my suspect is Cotton won't agree to the catch weight.
